I have the Galaxy Tab 7.7. It has a higher resolution than the iPad Mini but I find that sometimes the smaller text is a bit jaggy. If it had a Retina display, then I would've bought one.

I was very excited for this announcement, but I feel Apple missed the mark. If they wanted to be competitive in the 7" tablet market, their price point is still too high. I was chomping at the bits for a $250 iPad, and now I'm disappointed.

I will probably be getting a Verizon model to replace my horrid Galaxy Tab (GT-P1010). Very excited to say the least.

Getting 64GB, black, VZW. It will replace my iPad 3 in my daily bag. The iPad 3 will become the house tablet.

I'm getting one: 16 GB with Cellular, Black. I just can't figure out why yet.
I wrote about it here: http://shiningparadigm.tumblr.com/post/34178305648/miscellaneous-thoughts-on-the-apple-event
It will be my e-reader. Wifi only.
