I can't stand to watch a news media that is so biased...I will stick with Fox News and the Drudge Report. They report the news fairly and all the news!!

Can you be judged by your friends?
You DO know what a 'dictator' is? Correct?
If one country's dictator says nice things about another country's leader ... where does
that put that other country's leader? What does it say about that person's ideas?
Consider for a moment who is stepping up to endorse Mr. Obama for re-election and
    their country's status:
    Venezuela's socialist leader, Hugo Chavez
Cuba: Daughter of ruling communist capo Raul Castro, Mariela Castro,
Russia's autocrat ("one who rules by himself") Vladimir Putin
    Lebanon: Hezbollah's Hasan Nasrallah
plus the United Nations, a bastion of dictatorships in club form, has discouraged voting
    for Romney

Mitt Romney was the only person last night at the debate who looked like the President. The "real" President look very angry and uptight and was clearly on the defense all night and felt the the need to attack and be sarcastic. Terribly disgusting behavior for a sitting President. Fortunately, he won't have the position much longer.

Sadie; "Im hoping that all Americans can see that OBAMA is someone we can certainly trust."
    HOW? WHY?
Trust? Is it really acceptable for the USA to lose its Triple A rating? A first. Crippling debt!
Trust? Ask Steven Rogers who donated over $13,000 to Obama's U.S. Senatorial campaign. When Professor Rogers reminded Obama he had promised to return to speak with students Obama said: "Come on, man, you should know better when politicians make promises."
Or the Executive Privilege exercised to keep the truth from a Congressional hearing concerning the "Fast and Furious" gun-running mess.
And the latest SNAFU on Benghazi doesn't deserve our trust. He claims an "outrageous anti-Islamic video" caused the attack and death of our ambassador to Libya on September 11th. At a congressional hearing we find out a tape exists of the attack in progress and shows no demonstration happening at the consulate prior to the attack. At 9:30pm, their time, the street was empty. The attack starts about 10:30pm and lasts for about 6 hours. SIX HOURS! According to Col. David Hunt, personnel push a button that starts a chain reaction of announcing the attack and locking doors. The live video/audio feed goes to the white house, the DOD, the State Department and to the Pentagon. Also a former CIA officer, Clare Lopez, verifies the tape. She has been at an embassy that came under assault. When they announced an attack at her location they were told immediately that help was on the way.
That didn't happen in Benghzi. Nothing happened. The four Americans were allowed to be killed by radicals. No Marines were sent. In fact a group of 13 special forces was withdrawn from the consulate just 3 weeks prior to Sept. 11. They were not allowed to return or even stay in place before the attack. They would have made a difference.
    I think it's shameful.
And you drink the Obama Kool-Aid.
He's an excellent community organizer saying flowery words, nothing more.
Please Sadie, read more, open your eyes. Do your own research.

Would like Rachel Maddow to look into her observations of Mitt going underground after The Debates and The Convention. Something is wrong with this man, and it's more than his policies. There is something wrong with him mentally, emotionally, or both.

At the debate last night, Mitt was sweating, confused, and agreed with President Obama as much as he could just to move on and get it over with. It was scary. He knows nothing about being Commander and Chief.

Mitt is a male Sarah Palin.

  • gjmarshall - 12 years ago

Romney is not ready to be president of the United States or any other state. Please think about what is best for this country and if you do Obama is the clear choice. For those of you who maybe thinking you'll just pass up this election or your still undecided, please go and check out Romney's biography as Governor of Massachusetts. You can bet he will try to run this country the same way he ran that state, if he is elected. The first thing he did once he got in office was to raise the taxes of those who could afford it the least. He made cuts to medicare, teachers, policemen and even schools. Don't just take my word, this is all written in his biography. More than one economist said Romney had no control of the employment situation because it was determined by factors beyond his control. But it is written that more people went to work under Romneys leadership only after he introduced his medical plan which today we know as the Obama Care. This is the man who cut the salary of lawyers who worked for the state helping poor people who couldn't afford to pay for legal services. He said if these lawyers wanted to do that type of work they should do it for free. It goes without saying that the lawyers who worked for this state went on strike. Here's the real kicker, while Romney was governor of massachusetts more people, than at any other time in the states history migrated out of Massachusetts. I don't know about you but I can't afford to leave the United States if this man becomes president. Work is important but if over half of your income goes toward taxes and the other half goes toward just surviving till your next pay check how good is it to elect someone based strictly on their claim they can bring in jobs. Please use common sense in making your decision and not act on your emotions.

Vote for Romney! A man of character.
    To Char;
"He talks about how much money he gives, well its only to the Mormon Church!"
However, he doesn't talk about it. He submitted tax forms of two years, the media talked about it.
Can any of us match the percentages that Mitt reports? None of the current or recent politicians reported on come close.

As to who won the debate? Both sides are happy to declare that MY man won!
If I watched only MSNBC and their presentation of the presidential race I would probably be in your boat and pulling the oars right along with you.
    But ...
I peruse the Drudge Report and the Blaze.com so I get other views with nowhere near the biased messages of MSNBC.
I also read "The Amature" and saw the documentary "2016-Obama's America"

Here is the bottom line....Barack Obama is an excellent president. He has led this country with a strong and steady hand. He has delivered time after time. He has shown in the debates what it is to be a Commander in Chief. The US again has the respect around the world that it lost during the Bush years. I know our economy is still a work in progress but we are headed in the right direction...we just need to keep moving forward. This didn't happen overnight we just need more time...

Im hoping that all Americans can see that OBAMA is someone we can certainly trust. I love the fact we have a great example for a black man in the White House! Go Michelle!!!! Im a OBAMA fan!! Way to pickem!!!! Now we all have to VOTE BLUE for Democrat. FORWARD FORWARD FORWARD!!!!!!

  • Stef - 12 years ago

Romney truly scares me. The people who actually believe him scare me even more. He's supposed to be this guy whose faith means so much to him, but he lies so easily and without blinking. I don't understand how he reconciles that. Maybe he rationalizes by saying it's for the greater good. I would love to hear from a Romney supporter. How do they rationalize the lies? When there is clear documentation (in MANY cases there is video proof) about what he said, what makes it okay that he says he didn't say it? Are his supporters just that much into toeing the party line they will support anything he says and does?

  • Bill Hassell - 12 years ago

Romney doesn't seem capable of handling the MA. National Guard, ...and we want him as Commander in Chief? He really is clueless to say we have less ships now than in the early 1900's. President Obama exposed him big time last night and showed just how much he is aware of just what it takes to be an important leader not a snake oil salesman.

  • sam - 12 years ago

Romney isn't fit to be commander in chief, neither is Obama...

Dems can't count....look at the convention.....a 2/3rds majority after three calls for a vote...
I listened to it ten times. Dems wanted to throw God out by a clear 50/50 vote at least, if not a majority against.

If you dont believe in God that's fine. How many God fearing people are Dems? Supporting partial birth murder??? You say it is the law, it was the law to own slaves in this good land.

The law don't make it right.

Don't worry about throwing God off your platform, He's not there anyway...

Truth is, we are in trouble folks....

Suppose there is a God, and He did rain fire and brimstone on Sodom. If He doesn't do the same to this nation, He'll have to raise Sodom and apologize.

We say trillions, like it's pocket change....hope and change.....hope the change don't run out.

This is a sad state of affairs..... if it weren't for the a Nuclear arsenal Russia would already have taken us over.... It's ashame the only thing holding our enemies at bay is MAD.....Mutually assured destruction...

Don't worry about Russia, Catholicism will rule the world, it's coming soon, no it's here.

Look at the Supreme Court. They have a super duper majority.... Not to mention they have a VP on both tickets......

All Catholic controlled countries are broke, do your homework. Now you know the r

Mitt Romney is in way over his head and he knows it. Listening to many ignorant conservatives denigrate President Obama and the office of POTUS, I think he started to believe that POTUS is so easy a caveman could do it. I laughed at these conservatives, and I'm laughing at Romney. 44 human beings in history, people. Think about that....

Romnuts has no nut just flip flops. He said he will be tough on China and focus on jobs for America but while he was with Bain he sent 2,800,000 jobs to China. He is not really nuts he just has Alzheimer's and cant remember his position from one minute to the next.

  • angelika - 12 years ago

" HA " This would b the biggest mistake 4 america , I can also see his ego is playing a big role , nobody n this world is that important!!!!!!

  • Marge Redling - 12 years ago

Romney could never be a good Commander-in-Chief. A good Commander would never put down our men and women in the armed services, especially those still in harms way, by publicly declaring:

"Our Navy is old — excuse me, our Navy is smaller now than at any time since 1917. The Navy said they needed 313 ships to carry out their mission. We're now at under 285. We're headed down to the low 200s if we go through a sequestration. That's unacceptable to me."

"I want to make sure that we have the ships that are required by our Navy. Our Air Force is older and smaller than at any time since it was founded in 1947."

"We've changed for the first time since FDR — since FDR we had the — we've always had the strategy of saying we could fight in two conflicts at once. Now we're changing to one conflict. Look, this, in my view, is the highest responsibility of the President of the United States, which is to maintain the safety of the American people."

I found this to be highly offensive to all military personnel serving here and on foreign soil. It smacks of treason to say our military is less than what it really is. Why would a Commander-in-Chief tell the world that our military is not quite up to 21st century par?

Way to support our troops, Mitt!

  • JoAnne - 12 years ago

MittWitt is not qualified to be Commander-In-Chief! He only became the GOP Nominee because he was the best of the worst! I fear, however, that the GOP has figured out a way to steal this election. Voter suppression, wrong information on mailings including the voting date, and the company hired by Romney Campaign as a Field Consultant for $72,000 that also has been hired by the GOP to register voters and is now in trouble for throwing Dem registrations away. A guy was just caught in Virginia after the story broke a while ago on Florida and other battleground states. They are still at it! On Bill Press (Current TV) last week (sorry, I can no longer watch Morning Jerk aka Shut Up, Mikka(?sp) and Make Me a Steak), I heard that Tag Romney has invested in a manufacturer of voting machines for Ohio. I would love to know more about that and wonder why I haven't heard a word from any of my favorite people on MSNBC about this.

  • Tama - 12 years ago

IF POLITICAL POLICIES CAN BE PATENT OR TRADEMARK, ROMNEY WOULD BE SUED FOR VIOLATION.

  • Audrey - 12 years ago

Romney is not fit to represent the U.S. abroad even as a tourist, let alone Commander-in-Chief. Ann Romney "concerned about his mental well being" before the 1st debate. And the lengthy periods of time (days) absent from the campaign trail--ALL indicate Mitt Romney is not mentally fit to lead as Commander-in-Chief.

  • dorothyalleyne - 12 years ago

looking at/listening to romney makes me physically sick.this man has no character! he has already harvested many companies so he and his monied leeches are ready for a bigger harvest-the whole nation!!!they think their money-a lot of it stolen from hard-working people- ENTITLES them

  • loretta leman - 12 years ago

Mitt Romney has been lying for so long it seems he really does believe what he says, no way around it, this person appears delusional and a compulsive and/ or pathological liar, either way he's trouble with a capital T.

  • Annette Welling - 12 years ago

Mrs. Romney did say she was concern about metal ability if he became President. And she should know him well.

  • Tama - 12 years ago

Thing is, we go back in 2008 when Obama won the election, the Republicans said that this is a one term President and that's Republicans Senators and congress made sure every the President tried to introduce to Congress, they'll turn against it. They new what the President was trying to do will work but they didn't want him to get credit for it and that's why their candidate doesn't have any policies of his for their party cause they knew it won't win them the election this year. The important thing is, I understand we all want the economy to turn over night for prosperity but we need to understand, we have a government system with bureaucracy that takes months, or years to get anything done, unless, we're in a dictatorship country like Iran. Where what the dictator says, goes immediately. If that's the case, then I agree Obama didn't do what he promised. Therefore, we as educated people must recognize our system that was created by our forefathers for a reason, so your voice matters. One more other things I would like to add, everything Obama has put on the table is what he put four years ago because there more that he believed that needs to be done secure our economy as well as our financial market. Now, regardless who will win this Presidential, he will get credit because the economy is making it's turn for what the President had already put in place.
So, what's new? Romney getting credit for other peoples work. The saddest thing of all, there a lot of smart in our country that are buying the notion that Romney can do it better because they think Romney is going to make them millionaires over night. Good Luck, you've made your educational investment valuable let alone his tax plan won't even work. Romney got me going and he made believe that his tax plan will work, but because I know basic economics and tax codes and laws, I promise you it won't work nor is Obama's plan. We need to realize the fact is that this national deficit is not only the middle class's deficit, it's every US citizens Deficits, that includes the top guys or the super pac. The funny thing, is they say there is not enough population of millionaire to cover the deficit. We're not asking the millionaires to payoff it by themselves. We're asking them to help out a little bit for at least ten years and there more millionaires than what they say there are. I promise you that. WSJ just introduced last week 200, 000 household average 5 to 25 million dollars revenue with Corporate industry. That don't include other professions like doctors, lawyers, accountants, real state or realtors, hedge fund managers, athletes in all professional sports with their owners and management from MLB, Hockey, NBA to NFL, Olympics with endorsements and their agents, University & College level with the President and Board Members, elected government officials and unelected government officials, the movie stars and celebrities with their agents, should I keep going. America has more millionaires and billionaires than any other country in the world and that's a fact. All we're asking is to help us with our deficit for only ten or fifteen years. Now, to give to their help is to raise the interest rate up a little bit so they can invest and keep he deduction we've already have and tax credits to families and business in our country. That will help.

  • Lorry Pennie - 12 years ago

If Romney wins then it is a re-peat of G. Bush & A. Gore. Look at all of the clues of a fixed election from the begining; Just like the elections in other countries that we kill the citizens of that country, in the name of Democracy.

The Republicans stated their case during the Republican Debates for President, and then picking Paul Ryan as a VP running-mate; Their beliefs and words were put into action of their true intentions. The Ruling Tea Party/Republicans the real control. The Party is voted in; Not the person in a suit.

Where's Mitt's tax records? Or did we forget already?

I'm for my President Obama and VP Biden.

Mitt Romney would be just a Boss and Ruler, and Right a Car Salesman! All the jobs would be sent to China, and he would just become richer! To think he's willing to send money to the middle east, but doesn't care what happens here in America to the seniors, teachers, women, middle class, poor. All he cares about how to make money for himself and the rich and powerful companies that he supports! He talks about how much money he gives, well its only to the Mormon Church! • Juanita Johnson - 12 years ago

Ed, Why is Ann Romney holding on to Mitt as he greeted members of the audience? Did she feel that Mitt would tumble of the stage? And, what we preceive as Mitt be stiff and uncomfortable in his own skin is really due to physical maladies that have remained hidden from the public.

Further, why is the media contrasting how the 2010 elections played out with the Tea Party hijacking the election with the promise to creat jobs and the repeal of "Obama Care". None of this materalized as Romney will not remain a dove on foreign affairs since Republicans dominate the creation of war weapons, and all it entails. Romney will revert to the hawk he expoused just a few hours/days/weeks/months/years ago.

It has proven Romney has no knowledge about Foreign Policy and it showed last night and it also show when he jumped the gun and held a press conference when that riot occurred in Lybia with Ambassador C. I would be afraid to have him in charge. As Gov of MA, he left the state after cutting education funding, which resulted in increased property taxes to make up the shortfalls. While he says he didn't raise taxes, he increased fees by $750 million. He says he left MA with a surplus, but he left it with a nearly $3 billion deficit. He can try ti use an Etch-a-Sketch, but it's all in black and white in The Boston Globe.

  • Billyboy - 12 years ago

Romney says he'll cut troops to fund weaponry. Where are the jobs for the troops he'll cut?

  • Sylvia - 12 years ago

Thank you Julia..I also saw when Ann Romeny said that she feared what would happen to her husband if he became President..Last nights debate almost seemed as tho Mitt was throwing in the towel..Does he have a multiple personality disorder..just saying,I never know who is home when he talks.
Our President rocks,he is cool, calm and collected..he is a President for the People !!!

Mitt romney is suffering from Bipolar desease. My bipolar sister came to visit today and said look at his eyes and watch his bvehavior, I've been bipolar all of my life and that man is bipolar. I agree there's something really wrong with that guy. Oh yeh, let me tell you that CNN has gone Conservative and has for a while. Don't think their anywhere near Liberal or even Democrat...right now there working it like FIX is. Really pupmping up Romney. Just look at last nights poll on CNN. Even at 48 -40......what the he--????

  • Lean6 - 12 years ago

For a Presidential candidate and Yale graduate to show up as light in knowledge or position on foreign policy should be all the clue that you need to see that Mitt Romney is not competent enough to be Commander in Chief. It is not a figurehead position, people.

  • Judy Zukoski - 12 years ago

And my vote regarding whether Mr. Romney is capable of being our President is not just "NO," it is "DEAR GOD, NO!!!" This man has no understanding of international politics and will send us into a nuclear war in no time. I suspect terrorists worldwide HOPE Romney will be elected President, as then, they can have free range to destroy the United States. As for those American citizens naive enought to believe Mr. Romney will save their jobs and/or add to our economy, wake up and smell the proverbial coffee. This is an obscenely rich businessman who made millions investing in China and whose favorite passtime is firing employees here in the U.S. If you elect Romney, by all means, regret later, my fellow voters. Unfortunately, I will have to suffer (as will so many others) for your misguided choice.

  • Tom Rutledge - 12 years ago

Did you notice how strained Mitt the Twit looked last night? He kept repeating the same ol stuff cause he has no knowledge of foreign policy.

  • inthemiddle - 12 years ago

Being undecided I thought by far, Obama was more the Commander and Chief than his opponent. This being said, I believe that Mr. Romney has changed his stance on issues more than I care to remember.

I watched all of the GOP nominee debates and the Presidential Debates, I am sorry Mr. Romney but when you change your mind that many times during a campaign, you look untrustworthy.

If you change your platform to suit those who are paying for your campaign, that says I have no real voice.

Mr. Romney, please stop. Please stop yourself and Mr. Ryan from making fools of yourselves. Be honest, be humble, but above all, listen to those you want to serve. Because you haven't done that so far.

  • William - 12 years ago

Romney could not be commander in chief for a one child cub scout pack.

  • Ron M - 12 years ago

There may be 40%+ of the electorate in this country that is not willing to acknowledge the truth about Romney..but, the rest of the world will not tolerate this charlatan.

  • Elaine Pletsch - 12 years ago

Of course he's "qualified" since he's not really going to do the job, anyway - he'll have a board of directors or something.

  • Sharon Rupert - 12 years ago

Please explain why there has not been any reporting by MSNBC (that I've seen) about the voting machines that have ties to the Romney family and being placed in Ohio and Denver.

  • pamela beatty - 12 years ago

Mis-Romey is a joke. He totally missed the point. He was WAY out of his league. GO President Obama!!! you will always have my vote.

  • Dr Weldon Bowling, CDR,UN,Ret - 12 years ago

After 24 years in the U.S. Navy, I am happy to retired and not having to serve with the prospect of Rommney becoming Commander-in-Chief.

  • Ralph Pray - 12 years ago

Mitt Romney as Commander-in-chief would be like having Elmer Fudd as C.I.C. God forbid we have to find out .

  • JIM - 12 years ago

IT IS JUST LIKE JOE SCARBORRUGH SAYS,"REPUBLICANS WILL SAY AND DO ANYTHING TO GET ELECTED". THAT IS TRULY SAD.
AFTER MITT WON 1ST ROUND THE MEDIA TREATED HIM LIKE A CHAMP. THEN HE LOST THE LAST 2 AND THE MEDIA SAYS NOTHING.
PRESIDENT OBAMA BEAT HIM LIKE A RENTED MULE. HE BEAT HIM BY 30 POINTS BUT EVERYBODY SAYS THAT SHOULD NOT CHANGE THE DYNAMICS. WHAT? ALL OF A SUDDEN ALL OF THE NEWS OUTLETS ARE HIRED/RUN BY FOX NEWS?
TELL THE TRUTH PEOPLE. THE BIG "O' BEAT MITT SOUNDLY AND IT SHOULD CHANGE THE DYNAMICS.

  • mark woodburn - 12 years ago

Mitt does not want to be President- He want to be CEO of America

  • Sandy D. - 12 years ago

Mitt Romney wouldn't know how to clean my house, much less know how to run the country. President Obama won this debate hands down, he gets my vote, he will do great in a second term.

  • Lean6 - 12 years ago

Every American should be deeply offended by the strategy...the existence of Mitt Romney. He showed up last night clearly thinking that there are enough idiots who will accept "me too" as a convincing foreign policy position for him to win. The guy is dangerous. Read that again...Mitt Romney is dangerous.

  • MJ From LV - 12 years ago

Mitt Romney would be disaster as a President if nation ignores to look at his character. I am amazed how did he pass the test during primary; there are many republican leadership that I like but certainly this was wrong pick and can easily take the country backwards which not ncessarily affect the domestic but would have ripple effect on other countries. I hope people realize that and vote decisively.

  • Linda - 12 years ago

Romney comes from Wall Street, can we trust Wall Street, remember they caused the meltdown in 2008 so.....................should we trust someone who JUST WANTS to be President but does not want to work that hard. Why did he only do one term in Massachusetts, was it too much work? He might do to us what he did to KB Toys take a big commission when he sells the company down the tubes. He is a middle man who makes money on big commissions and lets the company fail, do we want that for the country? Lots of reasons to distrust him.

  • Veta Jones - 12 years ago

Romney doesnot want to preside over the American people, he wants to "Rule".

  • Babets - 12 years ago

Mitts was visible uncomfortable and sweaty! Commander in Chief? You're joking right? GOP had to settle for Mitt and they picked a dud.

  • Dan Casady - 12 years ago

Last night I got Romnausea watching a man with Romnesia pretend to be a Commander in Chief!

  • roberto perez - 12 years ago

PBO showed who IS the CIC.

  • Harold - 12 years ago

Mitt is doing whatever it takes to trick people into voting for him by coming from the Right and trying to fool people into thinking he's "moderate"...he flip flops more than Birkenstock!

  • vq - 12 years ago

Mitt is not qualified. And every time he has interaction with other countries he's insulted them.

  • Glenn - 12 years ago

As I said on my Face Book page last night; Mit should change his name to Map Romney because he is all over the place.

  • Anuj Bandyopadhyay - 12 years ago

Maybe Mitt could try and command himself first - one that will not sway with the wind and will consistently speak the truth.

  • Joyce E Neal - 12 years ago

As a retired Vet, Gov Romney is not fit to be Commander-in-Chief

  • EDWARD DARRAH - 12 years ago

He would out source our military to China.

  • Carla Denk - 12 years ago

Mitt Romney doesn't need to know how to be a president...all his GOP cronies will tell him what to do and we all know what those things are:

    Privatize Social Security and Medicare
    Kill Medicaid
    Go to war against Iran
    Keep our troops in Afghanistan
    Redeploy our troops in Iraq
More tax cuts for the rich

There will be no jobs programs that aren't related to war, no infrastructure programs, no healthcare...you'll be out on your own to fight big insurance companies...more big tax cuts for the rich while the rest of us lose our homes and struggle to keep food on the table...

And the list goes on and on
