What do you think of Mike Leach's decision to ban WSU players from using Twitter?

I always balance this to the police and fire or public service elected officials: If they are given the same free speech, would we want them as employees spouting off the right to say such rude and disrespectful speech? IF the answer is NO....then I believe anytime someone is being paid (yes a football scholarship is PAY) then an employee has the right to hire/fire and restrict employee behavior. Especially free speech that is harmful for a reputation of the employee. In this case; Twitter speech is harmful to WAZZU. Let this go to court. We need a ruling that will list out the limits. Again...how would you feel if your local cop was able to spout off about N-word citizens. Then claim they represent their job well. Make sense? There is limited speech.

It didn't end up very well at Texas Tech. While little comment was in the press, there was plenty said about the ban. It did very little for team morale.

hate it, young people do not like to be told to shut up, he's going to lose recruiting battles because of this.

I love the thought process of if you want to play on this team here are the rules. If you do not like the rules you do not have to be part of these team. But if you are part of this team you will follow the rules.
