yes,...Idris Rlba is certainly handsome and talented enough to play the role but he is not white or British....I don't know what Ian Fleming would say....just my opinion.

I agree with Bob. Is this a consideration in order to "shake things up" and add a new twist to the series....or is it an attempt at being "politically correct" and/or offering a "new" idea in order to make it "fresh"? Will it lead to more profits because it may bring in a larger audience? Whatever the case....why don't we offer up an African American or Mexican SHAFT? Have some respect for Ian Fleming and the series other writers? Do we always have to change history just to suit current desires? Keep the originals alive as they were written, for God's sake.

What's the point for a black James bond ? it would be acceptable if it was 008 that was black and worked with a white James bond or something but 007 must be a Caucasian British actor who can fill the role of James bond like in all the 23 bond films currently made and are my favorite movie series to be watched.
