No one will ever pay to read an online article. If I am that desperate to read the paper I'll go to macdonalds to read it. By you charging to read online articles it will cause a loss in your customers, and that my friends is a fact you can count on.

This is outrageous!!!! I will never pay to read an online article. You guys already advertise the tits out of these online articles and now you want to charge us. I refuse. My business with the KC Star is officially over.

I already PAY for internet service so I CAN read things online. If you start charging for it, then I won't be reading anymore of YOUR news.

We pay so we can read online....you are losing customers who used to pay to buy your paper so they could read it, because of the internet. It's the same situation with the postal service....they charge more for postage now, to make up for their loss in business due to people paying bills online, doing their checking accts online, sending emails rather than snail mail.

ALL of you were all for internet access, until it started costing you. You thought it was a great idea to be able to gain more access to the public viewing. You didn't think about the CON's of internet access.

NOW, you want to start charging people and making them PAY for YOUR decisions???

You're going to lose a lot more subscribers.

As the Titanic KCStar rearranges the deck chairs on sinking ship, you expect people to pay for on line news available for free elsewhere? As an advertiser in classified, I have seen rates go up as responses have gone down. Dead tree news papers are over.
