Both of the following are good sources of MSDS
Chem Safety
Chem Hazards
Both of the following are good Lift Calculators
htLift Calc (Humantech)
LiftRight (EMC Insurance Companies)
ChemTrix- for calculating Molar Mass & % Composition by Mass
Convert Unit- Basic Unit Conversion (lbs-kg; ft-m; Celcius - Farenheit)

I look about once a week for apps to help me do my daily job as an EHS Specialist. Currently, I use "Smart Tools" ($2.50) with my phone and tablet (both android devices) and it really comes in handy. It gives you everyday tools such as a level and a ruler, it gives you a flash light and a magnifying glass, but my favorite part is it gives you a dosimeter! We obviously have to use a calibrated dosimeter to measure accurate sound levels, but I have compared the app's dosimeter with our calibrated one and it is within a decibel or two. It is great to use that app just to get a general idea how loud an area is and whether or not further testing should be done.
I also have an app called FreeNote (free) which allows me to view my notes without opening up the app itself (i just put the widget on my home screen). You can jot down notes and then with the click off one button, you can add pages, add to-do lists with check marks and all other helpful things.
Professional Safety is also in safety app folder (free) which is provided by ASSE and is a digital copy of their magazine.
One app I haven't used yet but would like to learn more about it the Safety Inspector Mobile Audits app (free). From what I read about it, it already comes with programmed audit templates for the different types of audits you could be doing. Again, I haven't used it yet, but I plan on trying it out in the near future.
For those interested, I have a droid razr maxx and a google nexus 7 tablet that I use all of these apps on. The nice thing is, if you pay for an app on one devices, you can still install it on the other device for no extra charge!
