Thank the republican mayors and govenors for the long lines, also thank them for blackmailing our jobs and wasteing four years of our time. Which they will be more than willing to repeat again. Romney said that the republiucans will not work across the isle with Obama. I felt that he is threatening the Aamerican public, with what? another devaluation of our credit again. They have already proved that they will place their idology and hate for the black man sitting as President, before the whole country. Their campain showed their destain for Blacks, Latinos, Gays, and Women. All those people voteing for Romney, remember this, unless you make three figures, within the two hundred and fifty thousand our more range, he has nothing for you. He only cares for the elitist of the country.

I voted democratic in the last Presidential election for the first time in my life (I am 70 years old) because I believed Obama's campaign promises.. What a mistake that was!....He promised 51/2% unemployment rate, clarity in govt, a balanced budget etc. He has been a disaster. While Mrs. Obama took lavish vacations with her entourage costing the taxpayer millions, Mr. Obama has been playing golf and campaigning for reelection.
When has he ever tried to reach accross the isle to solve the nations problems of slow growth and out of control deficit spending. Obama Care was solely created by the left and passed without anyone ever knowing or understanding the long term negative ramification to future generations. It simply will cost too much.
He has cleverly created class warfare by depicting people who are successful and wealthy as bad people who should " pay more of their fair share" what crap. His union thugs were behind the march on Wall Street, trying to blame the Banks for the financial crisis when it was the liberal democrats eased the lending regulations that caused anyone with a pulse to buy houses they could never afford. Take responsibility for your bad 4 years.. He inherited a difficult problem but was simply not up to the task. We do not need any more Solyndras, Libyan coverups or another version of Fast and Furious.

For all that Romney claimed to have bipartisan support while Governor of Massachusetts, 744 vetoes (most of which were overridden), and numerous line-item vetoes doesn't show any kind of bipartisan compromise.

However, it does show that Romney was accustomed to being the CEO of a business, by the fact that Romney was more Boss than Governor, given his autocratic leadership style. By extension, it leads me to believe that, were Romney to be elected President, that Romney would attempt to be the Boss of the United States, since he has not accepted the fact that Obama's "Apology Tour" had nothing to do with apologizing but everything to do with Obama doing a global reset on foreign relations.

Obama understands that the US can no longer dictate to the rest of the free world as his predecessor G.W. Bush did, in acting Unilaterally, then attempting to get support. What Obama was doing on what Romney mistakenly refers to as "The Apology Tour," was, in reality, Obama explaining to the other nations that his Administration would engage in attaining Multilateral support first, then act only if there was sufficient support from the other nations to maximize the likelihood of a successful outcome.

What the GOP is unable or unwilling to understand, is that in a Multilateral world, the President cannot be the Unilateral Leader. Rather, Leadership is a cooperative process, with each part of the team taking on the appropriate leadership role. Moreover, much of Obama's leadership, through Ambassador Rice and Secretary of State Clinton, has been on the diplomatic front, with the UN, NATO, the Arab League, Russia, China, etc., as appropriate for the kind of action proposed.

On the National front, with respect to Obama, it has been the GOP which conspired to block any kind of bipartisan support in Congress. All it took was the damage done by Sandy, which required, amongst other things, cooperation between NJ Governor Christie and President Obama, doing exactly what they were elected to do, in case of an emergency. In essence, there is nothing that is really newsworthy about Gov. Christie & Obama doing what had to be done and praising each other for the cooperation and concern. It would only be if something went wrong with their interaction for the express benefit of specified NJ communities and residents that the Christie/ Obama interaction would really have needed to have been reported.

It is a sad state of affairs when one of the worst storms in recorded American History proves that Obama is proficient in working "across the aisle." Obama never quit trying. All it took was for a high profile Republican Governor to be put in a position where both good politics and good policy requires cooperation with the President. Even better, the aftermath of Sandy forced both Christie and Obama to ignore the Presidential Campaign and concomitant politics to make readily apparent what kind of people they are.

With full & complete confidence I trust our President. How can we trust Romney when he doesn't want to answer anyone about FEMA. Romney finally agrees to grant an interview & it's to a Sportscaster, REALLY a SportScaster!! OH & he does not want to go o the O'Reilly show, I guess he doesn't have confidence enough so he chooses to go with a sportscaster,REALLY!

  • Maerzie - 12 years ago

Even Romney and FOX are not exactly "friendly"! Who DOES Romney get along with! I believe NOBODY knows the REAL "Mitt Romney"! Not even his wife!

  • Maerzie - 12 years ago

Mitt Romney keeps saying that he used to "RUN" businesses! Did he RUN businesses?? Or, did he just "RUIN" businesses. Any third grader could figure out that there is a profit if you get people to work for 1/7th of the amount the current workers are getting paid! Sending many of our best jobs to China, where slave-workers work for ONE dollar an hour is NOT "running" a business! "RUINING" is the correct word!

  • Ann Cooper - 12 years ago

to think that anyone would want that piece of crap rommey to run our country is just nuts either they are rich like that pig for a lier or they dont care either like him for no one other then themselves i am not a politcal person at all i never say anything to no one about politics but when i listen when no one knows i am it makes me sick to think of rommey he is one very sick pig if he gets in he will never be my president to me it will be a country without one for four years if satan was a man he would be rommey for sure i cant believe that anyone would want to listen to him he lies all the time and he dont care he laughs at the people the ones that are voting for him because he has them fooled hummm i think i read one time that the people would be fooled what a shame they cant see it God help our country if he gets the office of president thanks for reading just my thoughts

  • Darrin - 12 years ago

Romney's religion is behind the curtain (mormonism). That says it all about the person. Talking about practicing what you preach. LIES!!! LIES!!! LIES!!!

  • Alfred Caple - 12 years ago

Romney just want's to be President, he doesn't care if he lies to get it. Obama is the way to go.

  • Kay Simpson - 12 years ago

Romney can't even work with his OWN side!

  • JANE WEBB - 12 years ago

I THINK MITT ROMNEY IS A SOCIOPATH....HE LIES SO MUCH AND SAYS WHATEVER THE CROWD HE IS WITH WANTS TO HEAR....NOT CARING ABOUT THE 47% THAT GETS A CK FROM THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD GET HIM DISQUALIFIED TO BE PRESIDENT....

  • Eddie JM - 12 years ago

Americas President Obama is one of four President's in my life time to have played a greater role of fair play for all people, I've seen 10President.

  • Angela - 12 years ago

Romney is running on lies, deceit, threaten and tried to intimidate voters, insulted the average middle income and low income people, falsely taking credit for a lot of things that he initially opposed, he is the lowest pathetic human being, (I'm trying to be kind) he is a pathalogical liar among other things. Too many to mention. He is against Women, Gays, Seniors, Hard working people. Look at the people that are out of work in Freeport, IL. Yet,
he's running a close race with Obama. I guess, "STUPIDITY & IGNORANCE" is alive & well

  • Independent - 12 years ago

Outrageous lies is all I see. The media is protecting Obama. You can believe what you want but I choose to look at multiple sources of information and make my decision. Benghazi is a foreign policy disaster! I will never vote a president, whether Dem or Rep or black or white, who gets on an airplane to campaign in Vegas the day after our Ambassador was brutually killed and no one went into save him after multiple calls for help. No one except the heroic navy seal Tyrone Woods, who defied orders to do what he knew was right. I've made my choice and it will not be the clowns running the white house today. "We leave no one behind" said Obama yesterday. What about Chris Stevens?

  • Beverlee Veltri - 12 years ago

I campained for Obama 4 years ago. I canvased the not so beautiful/safe neighborhoods in my city of Racine, Wisconsin. Almost all people answering our knocks at their doors had already voted (early voting). I was awakened to the realization that it didn't matter wage, race, middle class or not - everyone was on fire for Barack. This elecction, I cannot walk a
distance through my yard much less to your door to talk to you about the importance of your vote... especially your vote for our president, barack Obama.

    America - VOTE!

  • Kelly L - 12 years ago

Why isn't Bush campaigning for Romney? Why didn't he get invited to the RNC?

  • ShayJay - 12 years ago

How do you spell desperate? R-O-M-N-E-Y! What a pathetic excuse for person. He has lied so much that even HE doesn't know who he really is! I'm outraged that this race is that close! WTH is wrong with people? Just VOTE! OBAMA, BABY!

  • seniorcitizenopinion - 12 years ago

    - I see most items people posted here are facts, such as Romney lies, he does this every time when he talk; However, there are few who are in denial! Well if you live in Mass under Romney's administration, then you know the facts!

  • Independent - 12 years ago

Senior citizen...your pals like Hillary ALL voted to go in to Iraq after 911 so stop blaming Bush for what Obama could not get done with both the house and senate for TWO years. I'm tired of excuses for a president that can't work with both parties, except for 6 days before the election he is best buds with Christie. Give me a break and do some research instead of listening to one sided MSNBC.

  • Kelly L - 12 years ago

What country would I defect to if Romney became president? Thank you Jesus that I won't have to! I remember when Bush was reelected, what a nightmare!

  • seniorcitizenopinion - 12 years ago

Does anyone sees any of the 1% doing anything to the Sandy's victims? except Romney fake food collection for photo op!

  • seniorcitizenopinion - 12 years ago

Ed is a joke of a journalist. He has no idea what the works objective means and allows his political view to trump honest journalism. The biggest lies come from MSNBC an this a truly a disgrace.

  • Roy S - 12 years ago

Once President Obama win, this will be the offical end of the ill thinking republican that who thought he was gona be a one term president. Now the real republican will strat working for American.

  • LaVina - 12 years ago

I trust the President period!!! President Obama has shown leadership and honesty where people come first, every thing else last. He represent the whole 100% even if they are the 1%. This president is real, not fake, like Willard.

Next to President Clinton, this president will go into history into accomplish many of his goals that he mention in 2007, even though he dealt with idoits of Republicans in the House and Senate in not getting the job and transportation bill passed. We have seen the true colors of the Republicans, real nasty.

But most of all, President Obama is very likeable. My vote goes for Obama/Biden 2012. President Obama will be re-elective on November 6, 2012.

  • dorothyalleyne - 12 years ago

  • Susan - 12 years ago

We have seen what our President has done ...alway's the calm, alway's the optimistic, steady as he goes...Why would we want to change him, for a person who won't even tell us what he will do until he gets into office...Mitt Romney, want's to be President , but why?

  • Laurie B. Oliver - 12 years ago

President Obama! He has "reached across the isle" since he entered the White House. Mitt wants 2 b CEO of America, Inc. He sees himself as the one who wud delegate responsibility 4 domestic, foreign policy 2 his Neo-Con & TEA Party controllers. They wud work out all the details, Mitt wud sign whatever they want & ram the Righties' BS down everyone's throat. None of that involves reaching across the isle & it certainly is NOT democracy.

  • mercedes - 12 years ago

I don't trust Romny or the republican party, they don't care for our country only power. God help us if they win.

  • Valerie - 12 years ago

Wow, I've been off the site for a while. We just got back from a vacation in Branson, MO. This site sure looks different. When did all this happen. As for the question, who do you trust more? How can you trust someone who reinvents himself every single day. He is trying to lie his way into the White House? Can't wait for this election to be over. I get sick every time I see Romney pandering and lying on TV and the sound of his voice makes me want to reach right into the TV, grab him by the neck and tell him, we are not buying his lies and to crawl back into his cave and keep living in his own fantasy world.

  • Gloria Beasley - 12 years ago

President Obama has proven his committment and leadership to the american people and will do what he says he will do and do it will!

  • Scott D - 12 years ago

Obama has tried to work with the other side and has been blocked on almost everything. Why would we expect the other side to work with Democrats when the have proven time after time that they are not willing to.

  • robin - 12 years ago

All Mitt has on his mind is money and power and not for the american people, hes like a time bomb ticking away just to get his way. Mitts arms are to short to reach across party lines because he has to much money in his hands. The pampers he bought hes going to need for himself to clean up all his s@#$ hes started.

    Vote Obama-Biden and Democrat Congress!

  • Frank A. Armster - 12 years ago

I believe that Romney has a mental problem and a heart problem; and anyone that votes for him has the same problems. There are such things as right and wrong; and I believe that Obama is for what's right, and Romney is for what's wrong.

  • Cindy - 12 years ago

It's hard to trust the TWO R's when they keep flip flopping all the time and who wants to take our SS, Medicare and our Medicaid away from us.....They are nothing but a hypocrite, racism and prejudice liars. OBAMA/BIDEN ALL THE WAY!!!

  • Elaine Legg - 12 years ago

President Obama has always been for the people, unfortunately people refuse to see the truth they believe Romney's lies because they're filled with so much hate for the President.....Romney would turn our country over to the rich leaving the rest of us to get by as best as we can....we must vote to show those who think they can buy this election that "We the people" will not let that happen....please encourage your family, friends, co-workers to vote to keep this President in office....

I can only hope and pray that Americans realize the importance of voter turn out in the next few days. It is every person's right to sit on the couch and exercise "free speech" about what is going on and unfair antics but the only way to show that America is stronger than, more intelligent, and above all lies and control is to take ACTION! This can only happen by getting to the poles and letting no amount of intimidation or down right laziness stop us from doing so.

  • Ray Robinson - 12 years ago

I would be afraid of what Romney would do if he got in there...always changing his opinion. He'd be a danger in making decisions on foreign affairs. He would have us in war the first year he was in.

And yet he forges ahead, right up to this week as he patiently and respectfully assisted Republican NJ Governor Chris Christie...who, by the way has bad-mouthed our President for months as he campaigns for Romney. Vote to keep Obama in the White House...and oust the Republicans in Congress!
