Which Dress Should Smockity Choose?

I I love the first dress in red or green, and I agree with the woman who said it looks the most classy. And when you must bend over (to dig inside your purse to find your phone because, let's face it, SOME kid WILL call with an issue,) all your "business" won't fall out! :)

I would take that little black sweater that you'd wear with #3 to go with it. Have a fantastic time!

The first dress is just more classy looking, in my opinion. The style is figure flattering and the color black, I think, is the best option; much more suitable to wear to many other functions which helps to save money, too. Second choice is the second dress in the color shown, I think that, too is beautiful, however, not the better buy.

Satin but in black! Red is too in your face for me. But black is classy! :)

I love the satin...but only if you wear it in black. I agree with the other comments. Red is too much. Black is classic. Do red nails and lips! Have fun!

I LOVE the satin dress---agreeing with the others about the classic black look. The black is elegant and beautiful! The red is sassy and fun. It depends on what look you're going for and whether or not you would wear it again. :) All of them are great choices, though! You've done well so far!

I voted for the satin dress in red, but agree with some of the comments in that I really like the elegance of that dress in black better. That said, if you need the color, go for it!

I agree with the 1st comment: While I love the color red as much as the next person, I think the satin dress in black would be best. You can always accessorize with red (maybe a red sweater/jacket, earnings, necklace, bracelet, and red shoes?). Plus, you'll have a black dress that will work with any function/party in the future.

The first one in black. It is smart. Red is too much. A black dress is always a yes. If you want, play with accessories but do not overdo that with color.

Love the satin dress. I agree the bow one is too old for you - and the silver one looks a bit teeny bopper, but would be my second choice.

The first one, in black. Then you can wear it for many occasions! You can wear sparkly shoes or jewelry to make it more "holiday festive." The second one (with the bow) looks too matronly. There's too much going on with the bow and the fluffy neckline.

  • My first thought was the 1st dress...in black...classic.

However, if it is not a "black-tie type of formal" party, then the second may be just as lovely and for that I would choose red IF the top is still the natural/white color. It looks festive and feminine with the ruffled neckline, bow, full skirt and 3/4 sleeves.

Definitely the first one, but in black. It's adorable, modest, and looks slimming too, which is always a plus! ;)

Agreeing with the others that the first dress would be better in black though not sure if it would be the best neckline for you as it seems rather busy. The second outfit seems potentially underdressed (is this party semi-formal or formal?) and the silver sequin one belongs on a 16 year old with loose morals not you. If you go with black consider teaming it with sexy red shoes and a red clutch with perhaps a red pashmina in case of a chill.

I like the first one, but I think it's best in black. I think you'd be able to wear it to more things than just this party.

I would suggest a more classic look-something you would be able to wear again! But between the three, definitely the top black one. :)

  • Joy - 11 years ago

The black one, definitely! Black would still be a great color and would be versatile for other occasions, as well. It's classy. The other two have some modesty issues, even with the use of a little cover up. You want to look good, but not too good. :)

I like the black one. I say go with whatever you are comfortable in as we'll. Have a great time.

  • Karrie - 11 years ago

The first, in black. Then get some sparkly shoes. You just can't beat the little black dress.

After many Military Balls, i vote for which ever one you will be most comfortable in.
If you are self conscious you won't have as much fun.
The silver might be to short, keeping you distracted.
The black one (in red or emerald green) seems like there would be the least potential 'problems'
    Have fun!

I actually LOVE the two piece. It is so cute! I think I like it a lot because of the contrast in color. All silver would not do it justice. Have fun choosing!
