Only after serving others in another capacity for a decade or two. Our current mess is the result of college students becoming career politicians without experiencing putting academics to the test of day-to-day real life.

ONLY if they had the right qualities for it and a hard shell so they wouldn't get depressed by all the attacks! Also ONLY if they were HONEST people! The problem we have is that too many dishonest narcistic people are politicians and not enough humble servants!

Wouldn't recomend to anyone I care about anyway!! It's too biased, ugly, and tainted anymore.
I wouldn't want to be crooked after doing all of the work they have done to get that piece of paper. Congress will always be crooked now unless everyone of them are all gone in one big swipe, but after each election, there are always carry-overs that know how to steal, tell lies and cheat on everything they can come in contact of. I feel the supreme court needs a complete going over too. I have no use for John Roberts now what so ever!!!!!

I would want one of my conservative grandchildren to go in law and politics. Time to turn this nation into the right direction before those in office sink it.

Initially I thought no. Now, I think that it would be a good idea, MAYBE, depending on the individual and that person's maturity level. I do think that men and women in the military who know what it is like to fight for our country should run for office.
