Is it OK for Charlie Summers to focus on campaigning rather than the Secretary of State's duties during the final days before the election?

there could also be a party affiliation part to this poll so we know for sure that the ones who disagree are mostly of the other side.

What most don't know is the fact that Summer's is at least taking an unpaid leave. I haven't heard of the President of the United States or our current Federal House Reps being willing to take this pay cut at this time. Charlie is at least doing it right but not taking pay.

This is ridiculous. Can't we challenge any public official (including the POTUS) for campaigning while serving in office. Another example of media bias....I expect more from the Press Herald.

Ken, one might also ask why Charlie Summers has made a career of unsuccessfully running for various offices, with appointed positions in the Republican machine being his only means of "employment." Why would I vote for someone whose primary "accomplishment" in 20 years of hanging around Maine politics was to try his best ot infringe upon our voting rights?

Why are you targeting only the Secretary of State with your poll?
