NOOO...I dont think parents should place their 2 yr olds on a rail above a zoo exhibit where they can easily fall in.

The zoo should have a more reliable safety net. The mother should not be blamed.

How in the world did this baby get into the cage to begin with? Were the parents holding on to this poor baby or what?

As always we never know what we would do when something happens. Easy to say what we would and would not do, but a child is defenseless and weak. An adult is stronger and quick to react and with it being her child, I feel that she should of tried to do something. True that it may not of helped, but who knows I mean at least try. The mom and dad could of fought off the dogs better than a 2 year old. i just can't get this off my mind. I can just picture the dogs pulling and biting him. My heart hurts and the guilt and loss they must feel. It's like if your house is on fire and your child is burning, well you go in and try to save your child, you should come out burned as well. I wonder if she will face any charges for neglect. Lesson for parents and Zoo. If you can't see an animal at the Zoo, well to bad just see what you can see. I mean they were dogs for crying out loud it's not like it was so animal that you can't see everyday. Zoo maybe get nets that children can't fall through and maybe make it where nothing can bounce outwar, but maybe bounce inward. I just can't hardly concentrate at home or work. This poor family. It's horrible how freak accidents happen. My thought and prayers go out to the family and also all that had to witness this terrible accident that could of been prevented in more ways than one. Let's not pass judgement, she is paying the ultiment price the loss of her son. :(

New precautions should be made for safety in the future but the parents unfortunatley are also responsible as much as I hate to bring that up. You don't let a 2 yr old out of your sight for one second when you are out and about in public.

Really? The soo is responsible because an idiot mother couldn't hold on to her child? Btw, did she jump in there to try and save her baby? Talk about cowardly.

I absolutley think YES! The (zookeepers) didn't deem it "safe" to enter and help a child screaming for his life? Shame on you, how disgusting! If I were an employee of the zoo, AS MY JOB DUTY, I would grab whatever in arms reach, go in there and beat any dog in my path of saving a child!! SIMPLY COWARDLY!!!!!

This is ridiculous, the parent that was responsible for supervising their child is solely responsible AND owes the zoo an apology for bad publicity and for the death of one of their dogs.
The zoo should obvoiusly fix the netting. . .
