A Boulder Catholic church that served as a polling place also had an anti-abortion display on its grounds, within legal limits. What do you think about this? (Poll Closed)

Considering this country was founded on separation of church and state, seems like a simple case of 'NO'. This is the type of crap that caused the republicants to crash and burn.

I don't want any woman to feel abortion is the answer. When I see these displays my heart sinks and I become very uncomfortable. Many years ago my family and I passed a similar display, at my church, and my children asked what the display was about. I really didn't want to explain to my 4 year old and my 8 year old what abortion is. I believe in a woman's right to choose, the right to use birth control, the right to do what is best for her. I can't imagine being in a position when abortion seems like the only answer. These displays are a gross display of the male dominated Catholic church controlling women. I guess it's obvious I don't consider myself a Catholic these days.

tomslik, what are you...10 years old? Churches should not be polling places if they can't keep their political positions to themselves. It's not like you can go to a different polling place if you don't want to be offended. Grow up.

BTW- if the church can't keep their political opinion out of it...tax them.

    FTT, awww,poor baby is "offended"...wgaf.
don't want to see something, don't look.
    pretty simple concept, ain't it?

I have seen the display and it offends me. It should have been removed for election day if they wanted to be a polling place.
