you should consider the age of the survey respondeent and give additional weightage to the vote given by a person above 60. btw my age is 35 and I am not in a position to debate on PMs before the last 20 years

IT IS REALLY SAD THAT MR BAJPAYEE BECAME PRIME MINISTER AT THE AGE OF 75 ONLY DUE TO INDIA SO CALLED DEMOCRACY.IF IN INDIA ELECTION WOULD HAVE HAPPEN LIKE AMERICA MR BAJPYEE MIGHT HAVE BECOME A PRIME MINISTER MUCH EARLIER WHEN HE WAS PHYSICALLY MORE ACTIVE DESPITE BAD HEALTH & COALITION GOVERNMENT HE HAS TAKEN SUCH A DECISION LIKE GOOD HIGHWAY WHICH CONGRESS CAN,T UNDERSTAND FOR ALMOST FIFTY YEAR RULING.

The worst Prime Minister this country has seen is undoubtedly the the present PM Manmohan Singh. The best Prime Minister in my view was Morarjee Bhai followed by Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Nehru was the best PM to date Second is Bajpayee. But for Nehru, India would be more like Pakistan Today at best.

First of all let me mention that to select the best prime minister of our country is a very difficult job. As so many factors has to be considered like time period of occupancy, general environment as a whole of the nation or the global environment.
To manage the country has become increasingly complex as the times go by.
Because of the general degradation of the political standard , it is very natural that the system will throw up only similar person in the prime minister's post. Therefore there is no use of selecting the worst prime minister at this moment. Unless we can bring about a drastic cleaning of the political environs, the name for the title for the worst prime minister will go on changing like the position of the second hand of the watch. Unless off course we can bring about a drastic cleaning of the political environs.

    absolutely Mr. SANKAR GHOSH

  • Wizboxyenda - 11 years ago

PV Narasimha Rao is the best PM ,next is Lal Bahdur Sastry and the third is Vajpayi all others are worthless.

  • Murali Shastry - 11 years ago

Except Morarjibhai Desai and A.B.Vajpayee, we did not have a Prime Minister worthy of
mentioning. Worst of all is from the Nehru family (read Gandhi).

MY COMMENT ATAL VIHARI VAJPAYEE WAS IN SUCH A PRIME MINISTER ALWAYAS THINKING FOR NATIONAL INTEREST.THOUGH HE WAS BILONGS IN SECULAR PARTY STILL HE HAD OWN PERSONALITY . HIS FIRST THINKING WAS MY COUNTRY INDIA .HE PREFFERED MAINLY NATIONAL INDEPENDENT CAPITALIST AND ALSO FOREIGN CAPITALIST. HE WAS PRESSURED BY HIS OWN PARTY.I SAW THAT HE ACTIVATED INFRASTRUCTARAL STEPS THOUGH A LITTLE STEPS BUT COURAGEOUSLY DONE IT. SO FAR MY LITTLE KNOWLEDGE IMPROVEMENT OF THE COUNTRY SHOULD BE COME BY THE GRASS ROUTE LEVELE PEOPLE. HE BELEIVES THAT VILLAGE ECONOMY WILL GROW THEN NATIONAL ECONOMY WILL AUTOMATICALLTY GROW.BUT HE COULD NOT COMPLETE HIS DESIRE DUE TO SERIOUSE HEALTH ILLNESS.
