  As Silence and MechPlasma mentioned, even though it is close to canon, I prefer the hyperbolically self-obsessed Trixie. Trixie x Mirror being best TrixShip.

  I would also accept Trixie as analogue to Naga the Serpent - greedy, narcissistic, competitive, over-the-top but still essentially 'good'. Being The Best by outdoing the Good Guys, not by defeating them.

  I don't see why people need Trixie back. She's a boaster and now she's beating Twilight in a magical dual? And then she rules the town? Might skip that episode entirely.

  I'm really getting sick of people Obssesing over Trixie making up redeeming storys like " Trixie had a tragic childhood and the reason she bullied Twilight is because she's in love with here'' Bullsh*t Bullsh*t Bullsh*t Bullsh*t Bullsh*t , not only do I Absolutely HATE Twixice. But this type of stuff is happing way too much Trixie dose not a tragic past, She dose not love twilight (or Luna or fluttershy or spitfire, seriously who started those ships?) Trixie is a Jerk simply because she is a Jerk That's what makes her a Great character

  But yeah my headcannon for Trixie is totally obsessed with defeating Twilight, while Twi has pretty much forgotten Trixie completely. Similar to Delijay, but less comedic...

  I say this with complete respect and admiration to all the fans of MLP...but I really don't like Trixie. Boast Busters is my least favorite episode because Trixie is so annoying. Would someone please explain to me why this character is SO loved by this fanbase?

  idk i don't consider "The Twilight Sparkle Obsessed Trixie" to necessarily be shippy.

  I always like to think, that Trixie now thinks of Twilight as her ultimate rival now. Even though Twilight does not give the whole incident much thought.

  "Well if it isn't my Arch Nemesis ; Twilight Sparkle!!"

  "... who are you again?"

  "Don't play coy with me. I have trained long and hard for this day, a day you have long feared. The day i take my title as "Equestria's Ultimate Mage" back."

  "Were you in my magic-kindergarten class?"

  "ENOUGH!!!"
  *Trixie then shoots a fireball at Twilight. The fireball misses horrible landing a good 5 feet away from Twilight. The small fire burns for a mere 3 seconds before fizzling out. Twilight looks at the flame and then back at Trixie.*

  Come on everypony don't you realize that The Great and Powerful Trixie has the backstory with Twilight to be THE BEST VILLAIN. All the other villains were originally against Celestia, but The Great and Powerful Trixie is to Discord as Twilight is to Celestia. It harkens back to villains like Venom from Spiderman and Liquid from Metal Gear Solid. These villains have been embarrassed or humiliated by the protagonist, but have A TON of similarities from special abilities all the way to the actual personality. They have a lot in common with the protagonist and that is why it is so interesting to see the protagonist fight something that is so alike to them. I mean if Twilight didn't go to her exam that day when the Sonic Rainboom happened she might actually be The Great and Powerful Trixie, going from town to town preforming magic.
