ONE thing I WILL change TODAY to improve my overall health and well being for my 80-year-old-self is;
Stop smoking (smoking cessation efforts via programs or patch or medication is a great first step)
Stop drinking (excessive) amounts of alcohol
Decrease my stress and anxiety in the “rat race” by first improving my sleep hygiene (6-8hrs/night), decrease my caffeine intake, and taking 1-3 small vacations/yr
Improve my diet by eating smaller portions, increase fiber intake, drinking more water and by enjoy a more balanced meal - goal is moderation not starvation
(Start) Exercising more - walking, swimming, Zumba, Yoga, Golf, BB, Wii - anything to get off the sofa. Starting with 30min 3x/week...I WILL notice a difference!
