When driving from Fort Wayne Indiana to visit family in Windsor we only have a choice of this old bridge or drive downtown Detroit for the tunnel . We have no other choices . Everytime we go over the bridge we comment on the rusting supports & wonder if it will hold for one more crossing . No one can convince me that this bridge is safe . I hate it when you are half accross & traffic backs up .

I decided to NEVER use the Ambassador bridge again. Matty Moroun and company completely disgust me, as people, citizens and business owners. I am hoping that Moroun will be held accountable, somehow ,for his behavior. No sense of ethics, or right and wrong and a completely bizarre disregard for anyone other than himself and his family's fortune.

There are many of us who do not want to cross here but must because of our specific routing and clearance. I cross this Bridge every other day, not because I want to but because I have to as a semi-truck driver. Back in the 80's they wouldn't allow the bridge to have more than a certain amount of trucks on this bridge for fear of to much weight causing excessive wear and strain on the bridge. Why now are we allowed to be backed up from one side to the other and just sit. Seems that no one cares, Especially Matty Moroun, his only thought is how much money he can make and to do whatever he wants. He has provided us all with his intentions and that is he will do as he pleases, only now is the US Federal Justice system and MDOT fed up with his shinanigans.. I for one would love to see this person fall out of grace and lose every penny he has (which of course won't happen ). The only recourse is to get this new bridge built so we don't have to use the Ambassador Bridge. This will hurt Matty Moroun, no more charging us thru the nose for his own personal gain , No more traffic means less money they can profit from and even less money he will spend on fixing the bridge. Then maybe no one will use it.

Just one more reason to build another bridge. Maybe the Ambassador bridge should stop spending so much money on trying to stop a new bridge and spend it on upgrades.

The crumbling bridge that seems unsafe (railings that would not prevent anything) held together with rust and paint. The other reason is I will not give one more penny to Matty and his band of crooks. 60 million in profit every year and look at the bridge's despicable state.

I have fished under or near the bridge and had to dodge falling concrete more than once. Its a verry scary feeling. I now avoid fishing under it or driving over it.
