I work at a Pharmacy and I feel it is wrong to be open on the holidays in the front store when in the back store the pharmacy is closed! If it is a 24 hour store yes stay open, but otherwise close and let the employees have family time. I know the upper staff is off getting to spend time with the family. Then to add salt to the wound, they send an e-mail out to those working and say have a wonderful day and enjoy spending time with family and friends.... How wrong is that!

The people who are making the rules for the others to go to work on Thanksgiving Thursday are sitting at home with their families enjoying their Thanksgivings at their leisure ALL day and ALL night to do as they please! How fair is that?

It's called Black Friday because it happens on Friday, not Thursday...hellooo?
Let the retail people have one day for a Holiday Season, seriously! Opening Thursday just makes the Holiday shopping season (which it really isn't for a retail worker) one day longer for them having to put a smile on their face and deal with miserable, cranky, nasty people who are ticked off because the item/s they wanted are out of stock. That Brian, judging by his opinion, is probably just one example of those people!

Some people have no family and no where to go for the Holidays. Just being among the crowds of other people while shopping can be comforting and help the lonliness.

I'm a Westlaker that don't have family intown and haven't had a Thanksgiving dinner since my mom past away in 02..Its good time for me to buy gifts for xmas..GOD BLESS

Can one retail store stand up and show how important family really is? What a novel idea, family before lining your own coffers.

I worked for Wal-Mart and they stay open on Thanksgiving anyway which is so wrong people need time with family!! All stores should close the fun is going on Black Friday!
