yes, they absolutely could fire her based on this photo if she signed some kind of behavior agreement when hired. she will get another job, but in this instance she should be held responsible for her actions.

I am in complete agreement with Lisa Spano's post from 2 weeks ago. This woman is on company time and company expense. It's unfortunate for her she used poor judgement and someone chose to take a picture of it. However, if she was my employee and acted this way on the job, she would be gone.

I dont think anyone should lose there job over a picture but ive seen folks fired for less so do i think she should be fired? No? Will she be? Probaly but only if her job loses business due to the backlash of the pic.

What was she thinking? Did she honestly believe posting this on a social media site would result in something positive? Yes, fire her. Hope she is not so much the moron she appears, and learns a valuable lesson from this. totally disgusting.

Why should she lose her job? She is wrong, but those soldiers died for her freedom of speech no matter how wrong it is. If she isn't performing her job she should be fired, not because of what she does in her own time.

She should understand how disrespectful this is and that she should feel grateful for those who sacrifice the freedom that she obviously takes for granted. Terminating her employment will only put another ungrateful person on the welfare system, so leave her job alone and give her community service.

People need to lighten up. I think it was a stupid thing to do. There was no point behind ir but Americans take life waaaay too seriously. Nobody should loose their job over a touristy photo.

Not only should she be fired she should be made to wear a sign that says this soldier laid down his life for MY country and MY freedom...What has my Disrespectful ungreatful rear end done but bring shame for my unrespectful post on a social media site

She made a grievous mistake and should pay some sort of penalty but firing her would be too extreme in my opinion. Let this be a lesson to her for future actions. I just would hate for anyone to lose their job in this economy.

She was on a business trip - the company paid her to travel for the purpose of her job. When the company is paying for it - you are and always should be representing yourself and therefore them in the best possible light and should be held accountable for it when you do not.
