I have been a fan ince 1977. I actually have a tattoo of the eagles emblem on my left shoulder.
In 1991 I left South Jersey (Pennsauken) to explore Florida. Since then, I returned to Philly area for my job in 2010 and was able to see the Birds play on TV more often then I do now.
Im actually glad (for the first time) that I cant sit at home and watch the Eagles go into such a tailspin of a season and hear Andy Reid say hes not a quitter. I respectfully disagree. He has a family and only one shot at living life. He gave that up for a business called the NFL. Dont be shocked when I say that Reid walked away from his family before and during the tragedy of his sons illness whech led to his death. Theres where the quitter part comes in. How do I say that? Media reports when he was at training camp. The season dictates how long his time away from family will be and the circus side shows aka....post game interviews, talk radio from diners in NJ etc etc, prove my point. In my humble opinion, Andy became suspect with the passing of Jim Johnson (RIP) As a fan, the WE HAVE TO GET BETTER SLOGAN will only work if Im trying to get better ontime stats at the Philadelphia Airport. (BTW, USAIRWAYS-YOU SUCK! )
OK, enough of this drabble.....bottom line here....like the smartest fans on the planet have enthusiastically have been screaming........REID MUST GO.....Its time for Andy Reid to face life like a man and retreat to his family for awhile and let go of this team and give the fans who pay his salary a chance to heal!! WORST SEASON EVER!!
Look for me in Tampa on Dec 9th. I will be wearing the paperbag over my head with an Eagles Jersey on........NOW THATS COMMITTMENT.
