I like Elizabeth or Victoria as the first name, but I could see Diana as a middle name - probably too controversial for the first name

I think the name should be whatever the parents would like. On one hand, it gives a reassuring sense of strength and continuity to use traditional names that echo through history like most of those listed. On the other hand, the baby will be entirely their own person, and it would be nice if she/he had a name that reflected that; a name's history can sometimes be a burden as well as a blessing.

I believe that this is their child and they should call it what they want to . Diana did not abandon her children . I respected her as a most loving and caring mother ! shame on those who like to dig from the past and try and talk abnout those passed on!!congratulations to the young couple and may the Lord give them the best lifetime and a happy healthy baby .

williams mum name diana,could be middle name if they choose--the royal cuple should name baby whatever they wish no pressure,and comments from pulo, very unfair and wrong ,I believe william is the man he is today because of his mothers very strong influence ,on his upbringing, cant do that if you away all the time,what a lot of rubbish
