When we “The People” vote someone into a political office to represent our shared believes. We would like to believe that we have chosen someone that shares our best interest. A person not jaded by returning favors for campaign money. Representatives that will not feel entitled to the “perks” that may come with the power, the people have entrusted in them.
Last but of course, not least, when the job gets tuff, when doing the right thing is difficult, we need a representative that will stand strong. Our Country is in great need of strong dedicated representatives that will stand up and commit to support “Our Constitution”. We, “The People” have chosen to live and die for our freedom. No one and nothing, must ever betray and disgrace this great nation, “The United Stated of America” and “We The People” must stand strong and together. Regardless of our difference of race, creed or religion.

So quitting one job to move on and better yourself is greedy? I really feel sorry for people who feel this way. One of the sure ways to better yourself is to get elected to a federal office. Look at how many millionaires there are in the congress and senate. And what about the rags-to-riches storys of presidents like the clintons and obamas. first, anyone who would quit a government job is a fool. and, second anyone who does should lose all pensions and perks.

It's a job like any other. Anyone that thinks after the Obama administration fiasco that public service is noble and self-sacrificing should be given medication. The more important question is why do Americans keep re-electing these people? Sometimes for 30 years. Power corrupts and Americans should know better.

That 40% voting sure, if something better comes along, quit. That's a sad example of the huge portion of Americans who have no values. It's one thing on a regular job...when HR hires you, etc. But when voters have picked you it's because they believe you will go to work for them. They put their trust in you (although I often cannot imagine why). Abandoning the job because "something better came up" says F--K you to the people who GAVE you the job...paid your salary...it's a rotten thing to do to people. But....Americans are selfish and greedy, so why am I surprised that 40% would say, sure, move on, follow your bliss...

A politician may quit because they are being pressured to do or say something which is against the oath they took, their good moral standards and ethics in which case, they very well should quit and rather quit than lie or do something that is immoral. Their job would be at stake anyways, under a different pretext, if the politician refused to oblige their superiors in any way. Corrupt politicians want loyalty from their subordinates, not honesty and integrity. obama is a perfect example of a corrupt and deceptive politician. I have more respect for a tyrant dictator like morsi who is at least blatanty seizing power and implementing sharia law on his people verses obama who lies, deceives, manipulates, using people, weaseling and squirming his way into absolute power in such a cowardly manner, he gets people to volunteer to give up their rights as he seizes power by deception, but only until he misleads his supporters to the point of no return.. then obama will come out for the tyrant dictator he he really is when it's too late for his supporters to change their idiotic minds and even then, obama supporters may be to obama.. what the ss was to hitler. I believe obama is going to be that bad.. to accuse obama of being a socialist or a communist is probably not only a huge understatement, it's like accusing him of being a boyscout compared to what he really is and what America is really in for. Most obama supporters are jealous, manipulative, under- educated, lower class people who are much like obama, on a smaller scale. You will begin to see many good people start to leave this country within about a year or two until obama puts a stop to that too. obama's evil incase you haven't noticed so are most of his supporters either evil or extremely ignorant and stupid.
