Tax Poll Thursday: How can we avoid the fiscal cliff?

Enact the Republican plan. Taxes should not be raised on anyone and deeper spending cuts are needed.

Enact the Democrat plan. Tax cuts should remain for most Americans but the wealthy should pay more.

Enact a compromise plan. There should be some combination of tax cuts, tax hikes and spending cuts.

Go over the cliff. Neither plan does enough to trim the deficit.
