When are we going to be adults, responsible, accountable, work for a living, respect each other, have PRIDE, INTEGRITY and develope a CAN DO ATTITUDE. They are everday people in this world who have used self discpline and lived within their means. Who have went to work everyday to leave that job and go to work somewhwere else to bring in additional income to make ends meet. Then get up the next morning and repeat the event. They do not have the attitude or thought process that someone owes them something because they overspent or mismanaged their resources. They are ADULTS and act like an ADULT. Nobody said life is easy and fun. For some reason we do not know about SACRIFICE and DISCIPLINE.. I'm no different than anyone else reading this, I had to learn all of what I am talking about. I had the same problems everyone else is dealing with but i did not want to remain there, I wanted better. I was ashamed of the debt I was in the condition I had put my family and myself in, but I made the sacrifice and worked two and thre jobs at the same time. Anything i could make honest money doing, i did it! No job was below me, it was money and a means of taking care of my family. The best part is we can do this today. There should not be a sign posted "NEED HELP" apply inside with the rate of unemployment where it is and has been for so long. Go to work at least look for a job as hard and long as you need to to become employed. Most people work at least eight hours a day, did you look for a job for eight hours today?

It is time for freedom loving Americans to start calling on their state leaders to end the collective relationship with the bloated behemoth we call the federal government. Citizens should call on their state leaders to invoke the constitution and reconstitute the union under the terms of that document and disband the current dysfunctional federal government. The constitution very deliberately limited federal power intending that most government come from the bottom up, what we have now is just shy of a ruling politburo that dictates from on high. When congress fails to give this president what he wants he simply drafts an executive order, knowing that his stooge Haary Reid will see that it is not overturned. Does our constitution even remotely imply one person rule? No it doesn't but that is what we are seeing more and more of out this government.

Call your governor and your state legislators and tell them to join with their counterparts in other states and remove this greedy, corrupt, and dysfunctional monster from power and reform our national government under the restored terms of the constitution. No more Federal Reserve, No more EPA, no more Czars, etc. Over regulation, excessive federal spending, surrendering of our national sovereignty to the UN, and unchecked federal waste of taxpayer dollars can only be stopped by restoring the constitutional framework of our government that our founders created. There is a reason why this president and his loyal followers claim that the constitution is flawed and it is not a reason that bodes well for freedom in America.

It is time for all the Obama drones to start paying higher taxes. There are consequences for making stupid decisions to return this half-breed back into office for 4 more years!!

We are constantly told not to spend more than we make in order to get out of debt, and yet Mr. Obama doesn't seem to practice what we as middleclass Americans have known for a long time. Higher taxes on the wealthy will only cause more hardship on the middleclass. Businesses will layoff workers and the unemployment rate will skyrocket. Thank god I live in a gunslinging, bible toting state. At least I will be able to support my family off the land when I can no longer afford groceries.

    Dear Sir/Madam:
I'm not a particularly active political person. I'm not a Republican; I'm an Independent. I am a "fan" of your show and Mr. O'Reilly's, as well. I'm a 68-year-old nurse/caregiver. This is not a vocation that is considered to be a "wealth generating business (or occupation)". How is the President's economic plan going to affect seniors like myself who are working, who are active in their community, and who are still contributing to their Social Security account? I am currently receiving $830 a month from Social Security. Certainly not enough to live on, since I don't own a home., and that's why I'm still working; well, that's not the only reason - I love what I do. Nevertheless, God forbid that I retire now. Will my Social Security be taxed? Will it be discontinued? What exactly is the plan Mr. Obama has in mind for persons like myself?

Thank you for your attention to my question. And keep up the great, wonderful work you are doing! Respectfully, Lahne DeBruler

This is a simple game for Obama he is hiding the real reason for the cliff. The debt ceiling is the real problem with spending on the side. I don't know how we as a country will carry on if Obama get his way.

Ahhh....people. Obama did NOT get voted in. He won, just like in 2008, by fraud. That is the new norm for Dem's, fraud will win every time. Even Mr.Holder agree's with that. Even our courts agree with that. We are done. And our Rhino stodges go right along with it.

Let's go over the fiscal cliff. Let the economy go to pot. Let obama tax everything. If he had his way, you might get taxed every time you use the toilet (remember, you didn't build that septic and/or sewer system). Let the Federal government manage over one half of the insurance exchanges for the states. It could be 2 years of living hell for all of us. Enough people should realize by that time we need to get new blood into Congress and get back to being ruled by the US Constitution.

What's so sad about all this ... we have no leader in the white house !!!

  • Enas H Wilson - 11 years ago

Raising taxes for anyone takes money out of the system that maintains the current level of economic activity. That is even a bigger problem than not having money in the system to create new jobs.

I did not and would not vote for Obama either time. I have been paying attention and eventhough I make very little money and am a single mother of 5 daughters who might benefit under "king" obama, I am first an American who loves this country and am very concerned about the direction this "king" is leading us. Far too many problems and stories being swept under the rug by the lame stream media and far too many clueless Americans that voted him back in. very sad situation for us all, I'm afraid.

What cliff...that started in 1913 with the treason federal reserve act

  • PapaBC - 11 years ago

I did not vote for Obama so do I deserve this?
The problem was both major political parties doing what was best for the party and not the country. At one time I thought I was a democrat then I became a Republican 10 years ago.

What I really am is a conservative with a touch of being a libertiarian. I want what will be best for the country with will be better for myself and kid. A constitutional back America.

The people who voted for Obama deserve to get what they wanted: higher taxes
