Besides, if you read the article, I didn't suggest he should be left off the team (although a lot of folks who responded to the poll seemed to think he should be). That said, I was, and am, appalled that in the immediate aftermath of said incident he was chosen one of the team's captains. The optics are nine kinds of terrible.

I think it is clear that this writer has never played sports at a high level, or he would understand the emotions that can occur during the course of the season. Absolute garbage to suggest that one of Canada's best players should be left off the team over a minor incident. Have another Doughnut Koharski! what a terrible call
