These results are heartening and, frankly, amazing to see, and I hope you'll write about the results of your poll. 70% of respondents are primarily concerned about long-term, structural, Big Picture elements of our situation--dysfunction in government, financarchy & societal division, and global warming. Accustomed as I am to thinking of "us" as blinkered, short-sighted, and focused on the immediate to the exclusion of the long-term, this is good to see.
The question is, How long do we have to wander in the wilderness before we find a way to reestablish control of our governance, our financial institutions, and a commitment to meaningful work for all?
