I was furious that of the millions of amazing singers who've sung Cosette in B'way and West End productions, they couldn't find someone better than Seyfried. I liked her ok in the role -her acting was fine-, but her songs are gorgeous and she sang them with such a forced, vibrato-y voice. I know they wanted A-list actors, but COME ON. The production was spectacular and she was, sorry to say, one of the weaker links...
