I think that Adam LaRoche's time is up and that they should move Moore to first base and Morse should stay in the outfield. After that they can bring up Rendon because Morse's contract is up next year and moore can go back to the outfield.

No. Morse can do just as well or better, offensively. Although LaRoche is better defensively, a team doesn't win many games, because of the defensive ability of its firstbaseman. While LaRoche waits for better offers, Morse's trade value goes down, because other teams are firming up their roster for power-hitters, which Morse (and LaRoche) are. But if LaRoche keeps dragging his feet, with the Nats, trying to get a three year contract, with another team, then ends up signing with the Nats for a two-year contract, we have to trade Morse, because there isn't a place for him, and his trade value has been decreased.
So, I agree with Teresa, above: The Nats should set a pretty short deadline, and if LaRoche doesn't accept it, take back the offer, keep Morse, and move on.

NO! I am tired of all of the drama. Nats should set a one week deadline and then take back the offer and move on.

If they make Tyler Moore an everyday player (which he is extremely capable of) the kid would be a beast. You saw what he did last season in just a limited amount of games.

Adam LaRoche shouldn't get a three year contract because Anthony Rendon will be ready this year and Ryan Zimmerman will need to move in two years.

Matthew Skole will be ready in 2 years and Rendon this year. Both need places to play and Zim will need a place to move

We have a great option in Morse, Moore is maturing, we need to move Zimmerman one day. Why the HECK would we sign a mediocre 30+ first basemen. LaRoche can NOT repeat last years performance, he is totally replacable.

I don't want that logjam there for a possible zimmerman move. Also 34 year old ALR scares me.
