Do you support a cinema being based at Giltbrook (IKEA) Retail Park, Nottingham?

    Road systems cannot cope?

Having read the other comment all I can say is that if they are involved in traffic management they can have no argument. Apart from a very occasional slight delay I am never held up for long periods at ikea. If we have to put up with a increase in traffic that is a small price to pay for the improvement in leisure facilities the increase in property values as the area becomes more desirable and the benefit of more employment. I remember the complaints when they built the present extension to the retail park but full marks to the developers for the improvement in the old eyesore sight and the increase in local employment. People need to stop being against progression and look towards the future

I agree with the comments made by A Morgan, I live close by to Ikea and the roads can not cope with the amount of traffic at the moment, introducing a cinema would be a very bad idea! Please don't do it!

If this Ciema project was to go ahead the road infastructure would need major improvements. The layout of the roads near to Ikea are simply appalling and the attitude of having traffic lights at every junction does not work.
For this idea to be successful there would need to be direct access off the A610 and I am certain that the cost of that would not be met.
Sir, have you tried to get from the A610 towards Hill Top on a Friday afternoon or even off the A610 slip road on a wet sunday afternoon? it's nigh on immpossible.
Whilst I fully support local ammenities with local jobs I also want to be able to get home easily and not have increased pollution from traffic jams.
As someone who works in Traffic Management I can see that we just don't have the skills locally to be able to plan this type of development correctly, I therfore am sorry to say that I would therfore not support it.
