If they were that concerned about the country and the Economy !!! maybe they should have a wage reduction and put something back in to the POT 32% sounds a good starting point

Their pay should return to pre-2008 level when their inept governing of the economy and everything else caused massive problems for the whole country. Second salaries should be withdrawn immediately, they are not worth it.

I feel a bit peeved by this latest revelation around MP's wanting a pay rise. It just further goes to cement the idea of how out if touch these so called 'leaders' are with the general public. As someone who works hard and gets payed enough to live, hearing someone say that 65,000+ income isn't enough. That's low, last year eighty two thousand children under the age of 18 were living in temp accommodation and in the uk, 200 homes are repossessed every day. Come on guys sort it out!
