We have a Samsung galaxy s3 and the screen just started to flicker. It is very noticeable especially when you are looking at it.how can we fix this issue pease.

White balance changes seem to have something to do with the lines and pink in my camera ( on screen and end result ).

My phone started flickering violently after about 9 months. The screen colour has gone slightly greenish too.

I have had my s3 for a little over a year now and had some problems in the past but it wasn't anything major until now. My son was using it when all of a sudden it started to get lines through it. When I go to unlock it and when I rotate the screen it also does it. Not sure what is causing this to happen but I am concerned about it. If I find out anything helpful I will post it.

I have had my Galaxy 3 @1 yr. Yesterdsy, myGalaxy had an auto software upgrade, and since then, my sreen glickers when an adv/app appears when changing a screen. I have to back out of it to get it to stop. Also sonce software upgrade, a bright white flash randomly happens from back of my cell. Startling when it happens in the middle of the nite!

Well, My flicker started later in the evening... I have had this phone for a while now.. I had an Screen issue before but it cleared when my phone was left to rest... This hasn't worked now.. Taking the battery out and placing it in does not help. I opened a tab on the Internet and it started flickering rapidly. Almost strobe like... All of the options such as the GPU settings have not worked......Please Help?

I bought my galaxy s3 in November ,after a few months I noticed some horizontal flickering lines clearly noticeable on white background.Not sure but i guess it disappeared after a firmware update.Now again i have been seeing the horizontal lines.What is the solution to this problem?

My galaxy s3 flickers while scrolling....phone is 9 months old and the problem started a few months ago....restart fixes it but I'm hoping it doesn't get worse because I love my phone.

Two new Samsung Galaxy s3s, less than two weeks old. My husband's screen started to flash between two screens, strobe-like. The wallpaper also flashed. One time when it was plugged in bedside in a dark room, it came on and started to flash for no reason. I thought he a had a faulty phone. But today, with mine plugged into the car charger, mine started that strobe-like flashing. We re-booted, cleared memory, stopped running programs, etc. This was only today, so I don't know if this is a long term fix.

the flickering only started today when I downloaded the free app to play scrabble. when I went to retrieve a text message while the app was still open and running, the flickering began. this never happened before with other apps running and I went to read a text. What'sthe cause?

I've only had my S3 for about a week now, heard great things from friends and overall im very pleased with it, however i am experiencing this as well. (i've noticed it seems to occur most frequently when the media player is active) It is a one second full screen blackout. The image of my menu will come up after a screen unlock, then the screen will black out and almost look like it shuts off (or a hardware connection issue), it will begin flashing on and off repeatedly.
I have found that if you hold down the power button until the task manager comes up and remove background apps (swipe them off to the right side of the screen) it seems to stop the flashing. May be some type of overload? I tried clearing my ram to no avail.

I bought my s3 four months ago. It doesn't flicker but one-third of my screen seems darker than the rest. I never put it in my pocket and I ensure that it has enough space in my bag. It is very noticeable especially on the lock screen. I tried putting backgrounds of different colors but it is still very visible. I also don't set the brightness to its highest, as it eats up a lot of the battery and it hurts my eyes. I hope you could help me find a solution for this. I really saved a lot just to buy this, and this is also my first Android phone ever. Thanks in advance. :)

I have had my galaxy six months now. The flickering started a couple months ago and has gotten worse. My phone never leaves my side so it disappoints me something I love and paid so much for is so faulty. It usually starts when I pull down notification bar. I just want my phone back! The only thing that seems to control it is constant restarts and getting rid of recently downloaded apps. Had to completely reset my phone once.

The flicker happens all the time, the gps doesnt work at random times, and parts of my touch screen stop working at random times as well. Just bought the new phone a few months ago.

Really annoying, I thought it was why the Swype is so awful on this S3 but then I read on other forums that Swype is awful on this phone. I am so disappointed. I had the Galaxy and barely made it a year before I had to upgrade, the swype worked fine but the Voice would NOT work. Ugh now voice seems great and the rest is bad. How can it be when this is the top selling device?

my common denominator seems to be after I have allowed Google Play to run for a while then the flickering starts until I reset my phone.
