As Barack Obama Begins His Second Term, What Best Describes Your Emotions?

It seems Gallup's approval ratings poll results for Obama over his four years being third lowest behind Carter and Ford is not credible to liberals. So, they substitute their opinion of him and call conservatives names for making valid criticisms based on the awful unemployment numbers, and multiple failures, such as green company failures and bailouts and stimulus spending that hasn't restored the US economy to healthy levels.

No one but liberals can deny the cold hard fact of almost $5 Trillion added to the National debt by Obama, and no US budget in over 3 years. As long as the 47% Takers get their 'entitlements', and the Makers are taxed higher than in the past, Obama is a success, and conservatives are 'sore losers', in their opinion.

I wonder why Obama doesn't wear the towel on his head in public! We are surely doomed.

Obama is like Nero, who burned Rome to ashes and blamed others. The failure of the Obamanation to comprehend the coming danger of fiscal /econonic collapse (or his gross indifference to it) is appalling. When the s---t hit s the fan though, I hope he is still in power to be made to answer to the people.

Obama's speeches are composed of platitudes crafted with the intent of furthering the deception that he has our interests at heart. It's reasonably obvious to me that the politically lucrative artificial crises of fiscal cliffs and deficits will be maintained and we're not likely to see any real budget during his presidency. The fear of going over these purposefully created "cliffs" induces panic inspired voting behavior from the entitlement addicted masses who are convinced that their "gravy train" will be cut off by the "other guys".

It is this iteration of our political culture that has cemented my cynicism of what the United States really is.

Jesus and his dudes traveled with the assault weapon of the day: The sword. Jesus asked how many swords they had on hand at the last supper. The dudes said we have two and asked if that was enough. Jesus answered yes two was enough. Peter in the garden drew and used his sword to protect his friend who was about to arrested.

I believe I heard Obama say during his coronation speech that our economy is dependent on the middle class to carry us through. I guess that means his tax increases on the wealthy aren't enough. Stand by for round 2!

    @ Truthteller:

You said: " Welcome Drudge Report readers, understand that you have to stop letting fear rule your lives. See the hope and the Drudge link is what skewed these numbers, the far right is still the minority. Thank God. Always remember what gun would Jesus own?"

Drudgereport readers are better informed than those who rely on the liberally biased main stream media. Drudge broke the Clinton-Lewinsky story but CBS waited for a week before it begrudgingly acknowledged the issue. Rather than blame the outcome of the poll on who read it and where they found it on the internet, please try to tell the truth about the voter fraud issues in PA, FL and OH in 2012, as enumerated in the post below by Rich Giddens.

Fear does not rule my life. I live my life knowing that Socialist democrat policies will eventually be rejected in the same way they are being rejected in Europe. I spend my time as I please, reading various sources of news and history, and I earned the opportunity to do so by ' building things by myself ' rather than rely on government for redistribution of wealth from hard working citizens.

You asked "What gun would Jesus own?" He might not own one with his ability to perform miracles. But if he chose to pack heat, he'd carry one of the best guns available, which has yet to be produced as of 2013. Normally, I don't venture into fictional scenarios that liberals enjoy discussing so much; e.g. movies and TV shows. But I'll humor you this one time.

I'll check back tomorrow to see if you attempted to explain the voter fraud in PA, OH and FL. If so, I'll read your reply for some yuks.

Natural Born Citizen = Born in the US to 2 US Citizen parents.

I was taught this in elementary school. We no longer teach the definition of NBC in public schools. The public has been sufficiently dumbed down to allow this Uusrper to be elected not just once, but twice.

I apologize to the world for the pop culture brainwashed morons who re-elected the Usurper. Please forgive us.

How is it 91% feel dread and he won the election? Maybe the ones who voted for him can't read, therefore don't use the internet.

The END of AMERICA as we knew it! It will no longer be a beacon of freedom for anyone...legal or illegal! The gimme-gimme Obamabots aren't through 'punishing America' for ALL their perceived slights......they won't be entirely happy until they totally crash the economy & the country...

The fortunate ones are the ones who died this past year and were removed from the impending doom of America's future under the the 'O' and Mooch and the moochettes. Oh, yes, and his handler...Ms ValJar!

  • Rich Giddens - 11 years ago

Most everyone suspected fraud, but these numbers prove it and our
government and media refuse to do anything about it.

As each state reported their final election details, the evidence of voter
fraud is astounding. Massive voter fraud has been reported in areas of OH
and FL, with PA, WI and VA, all are deploying personnel to investigate
    election results.

Here are just a few examples of what has surfaced with much more to come.

    * In 59 voting districts in the Philadelphia region, Obama
received 100% of the votes with not even a single vote recorded for
Romney. (A mathematical and statistical impossibility).

    * In 21 districts in Wood County Ohio, Obama received 100% of
the votes where GOP inspectors were illegally removed from their
polling locations - and not one single vote was recorded for Romney.
    (Another statistical impossibility).
    * In Wood County Ohio, 106,258 voted in a county with only
    98,213 eligible voters.

    * In St. Lucie County, FL, there were 175,574 registered
eligible voters but 247,713 votes were cast.

    * The National SEAL Museum , a polling location in St. Lucie
County, FL had a 158% voter turnout.

    * Palm Beach County , FL had a 141% voter turnout.

    * In Ohio County , Obama won by 108% of the total number of
    eligible voters.

NOTE: Obama won in every state that did not require a Photo ID and lost in
every state that did require a Photo ID in order to vote.

He calls for unity while dividing the nation with his arrogance and incompetence. His first term was a sprint of an attempt to destroy the economy, he can merely walk to the finish line at this point. Obama will go down as one of the most cursed presidents in American history.

  • Lee McBride - 11 years ago

Immigration reform will be an illusion also. Oh, Barack will make a show of it, but with ~ 70% of the hispanic vote locked up, why would he want to mess with that? Any failure at reform will of course be blamed on the Republicans.

  • Reginald - 11 years ago

Well, he's past the halfway mark. It can only go downhill from here, in days and quality. (there was no quality to begin with)

  • Rhadagastt - 11 years ago

Susan: my sentiments exactly. Who the f voted for this guy?? Actually I read that in the swing states Romney only lost by 350,000 votes. In a country of 300 million that's missing by a hair.

Nunya: so very applicable. Especially the line: "he speaks in accents familiar to his victims and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men."

  • bill - 11 years ago

Susan, this story linked from Drudge. Nuf said.

Hmmm..... 92% dread. Makes me wonder how this president was elected.

Those who are displeased with Obama's policies and his re-election to a second term, and are griping, should re-direct their energy to the betterment of our Country.

The 2014 Senate and House elections are available to enforce our Constitutional rights; e.g. to continue to block the Socialist Democrat's agenda. The US House is controlled by Republicans, and that needs to continue in 2014. Those of us in CT who feel strongly about their freedoms and rights should write to their 7 Democrat Congressmen, to tell them how we feel about their recent assaults on our various liberties, the lack of a federal budget for over 3 years, and their lack of accountability to their constituents. Ask them to respond in writing so that we have a record of their stance for their next re-election.

We should also write to Republican Congressmen from other states to tell them how we feel about RINOs and any Republican who votes for a Democrat Socialist policy, for whatever may be their reasoning.

Finally, between Elections, we can exercise powers as great or greater than our right to vote. We can 'vote yes or no' at the cash register. I do not knowingly buy products made in China, or products of liberal celebrities, such as tickets to movies by Hollyweird actors and directors, and singers, musicians and record producers who have supported Socialist Democrats. You can see them at any 'party' or fundraiser for Obama, such as today's Inauguration ceremony.

We have met the enemy, and it is us. America voted this socialist in for a second term. Hold on to your seats. It only goes down from here...waaaaaay down!

Just a couple quotes that demonstrate that what we are seeing in Amerika (the U.S.S.A.), has happened before and history is repeating itself...

"Nothing is more unreliable than the populace, nothing more obscure than human intentions, nothing more deceptive than the whole electoral system."
    -Marcus Tullius Cicero

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear."
    -Marcus Tullius Cicero

"The enemy is within the gates; it is with our own luxury, our own folly, our own criminality that we have to contend."
    -Marcus Tullius Cicero

  • John - 11 years ago

It is what it is- four years of manipulative economic destruction and a full frontal assault on the illusion of freedoms we have here. Don't expect any budget to come forth so long as fiscal cliffs and debt ceilings can be perpetuated to induce fear based voting habits on those who rely on handouts and are brainwashed into believing that they need to keep "progressives" in power to preserve their gravy train. Perpetuating economic uncertainty by preserving our debtor status will ensure there's enough economic uncertainty so that potential employers won't be willing to commit to higher payrolls- so welcome to the "new normal" as far as unemployment- 8-10% u3 which is 14-15% in reality.

The United States is being destroyed from within.
