What's next??? -Let's see how long it takes until a police officer kills someone with one. -Disappointed.

I think giving these bullies tasers will definiately up the police induced death toll.these people are under trained and ego driven and giving them another weapon is not the answer. try giving them proper education and people skills. the public opinion of these morons is low now just wait till they kill someone with a taser.

Seems that the woman who can't understand what a 'Caps Lock' is has a very bad experience. She seem to forget that if you don't comply fully with the police, you can't expect to get away scott-free. I say GOOD, yes, let the police use a tazer, it's a much better idea than simply having to draw their firearm.

Perhaps the issue at JAX club would have been better diffused if 'MALIYAH SMITH' had listened to the police and not tried to fight her way to her friend. How do the police know you're 'just' approaching to help your friend and not attack one of the officers? They don't know that, THUS you stay the fuck back and let them do their job. She's going to the car, don't like it? Join the police force.

I wonder if 'MALIYA' could with her record... hmmm

The RCMP have already been using them for a few years. It's better than a bullet in most cases. The more tools the police can choose from, the better.

Maliyah, I totally agree that the police service tends to abuse their power. Regarding the example you shared, I wasn't there, but I have seen similar excessive force. However, police officers are already carrying guns, so to imply that it is too dangerous for them to carry tasers is somewhat naive. If I am ever wrongly attacked by the police, I think I would prefer a taser to the back and than a bullet to my back.

SASKATOON POLICE ALREADY USE TOO MUCH FORCE, THEY WILL DEFINITELY ABUSE THE POWER OF HAVING A TAZER, IF A CITY COP HAS TO BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF A LITTLE DRUNK GIRL IN HEELS & A SKIRT (OFFICER WHO DEALT WITH THE GIRL ON JULY 21ST OF 2011 @ JAX NIGHTCLUB, SWOLLEN MEMBERS CONCERT) BEAT HER FACE INTO THE RAILING & MADE HER WALK TO THE CAR WITH HER BOOBS HANGING OUT & WOULD NOT LET ME OR MY OTHER FRIEND GO NEAR HER TO PULL HER SHIRT UP, MADE HER SIT IN THE CAR WITH HER BOOBS HANGING OUT & MADE HER SIT IN THE CELL FOR 2 HOURS & REFUSED TO LET A FEMALE POLICE OFFICER COME & HELP HER. LOOK IT UP, SHE WAS CHARGED FOR ASSAULT FOR SPITTING ON THE BOUNCER AT JAX. ANYWAY'S THERE WAS 6 OR 7 OTHER COPS AROUND & ABOUT 100 PEOPLE WHO WITNESSED & NOBODY DID ANYTHING!! WHEN WE WOULD TRY TO GO NEAR HER, ANOTHER COP WOULD COME AT US AND SAY "STAY THE FUCK AWAY OR YOUR NEXT!!". DISGUSTING THE SASKATOON POLICE ARE SO DO NOT GIVE THEM TAZERS, THEY WILL END UP KILLING SOMEONE !!
