Depends on the poetry, if I like it. I write my own stuff lots of time. I've done it since I was a child. But some other poetry I do like if it speaks to me. If it touches me in some way.

I always wonder when people say they don't like poetry...I think they've never been taught how to read it. Also, there are so many kinds of poetry...like books...someone for everyone. It's good to read a little poetry, your brain gets a different kind of exercise. Most people want a fast read, beach books, and they can be fun, but they're shallow, don't give you much to think about.
