Ricky Jackson, Vaughn Johnson, or Pat Swilling would make GREAT DC for New Orleans. Sam would be to had he not passed away so early in life

I would have to say crennel would be the best choice. But if we can't get him I would definitly look at one of our great linebackers from back in the days of the dome patrol.

Sean Payton. An offensive mind like his has to understand every aspect of defensive play. Let him run the D

Was a converted Saints fan due to Two people....Drew Brees and Gregg Williams....Spags was a good man and am sure a decent coach but his sideline demeanor resembled a deer in the headlights !! Williams minus the allegedly bounty crap was and still is the best D C in football at any level. Gregg was a college Q B and really understands how to "attack" offenses. His so called exotic blitzes were merely situational strategies with agression. I hope he and Sean could bury the hatchet and get this franchise back to the Super Bowl provided reinstatement from the commish.
Kirby smart, aside from dick lebeau, runs the best, most disciplined 3-4 I've seen in recent memory. He's young, energetic, and highly regarded in the college community. He would inject some life into that defense and having coached in the Strength Everywhere Conference for a national powerhouse (mostly because of his defense), I believe he could make the translation to the pro game relatively smoothly.

I really would like to see Coach parcells. He has been Coach Payton's right hand man. Would really make for a damn good team.

Hmm Winston Moss.. is a good candidate for the job or romeo crennel. I thought Lovie Smith teaches 4-3? I could be wrong. Either way, Lovie, Crennel or Moss... would be good candidates.

Wade Phillips runs the 3-4 better than anyone, and has to be fed up with Houston's anemic offense.

Hire Wade Phillips away from the Cowboys

I originally thought Rob Ryan but the Rams snatched him up just today (ironic that's where Williams was supposed to be) so immediately Lovie Smith came to my mind.

Try Todd Grantham from UGA....10 yrs as an NFL coordinator. Has coached the last couple of years in the college game, so he knows the spread offense well.
Was considered for the Eagles job.
Write it down, he would be a good one.
Jim Tomsula would be the best option
Pat Narduzzi - young, talented, aggressive top college coordinator who can coach, teach and relate to his players.
