I finally found someone an not on the computer. He is 17 yrs younger than I but we are happy....So goes to show you....AGE DONT MATTER UNLESS YOU'RE CHEESE

I met the love of my life on an online dating site. Is wasn't Match but a different one. He's amazing and I am thankful every day for that site and meeting him. What happened to her is horrible but compare that incident to the number of incidents that happened when a woman met a psycho at a bar....

I met my husband on match.com, so all I can say about this horrible event for this woman, she could have met him anywhere. As we see by everyday news, there are alot of sick people out there. match.com gave me a way to meet folks without going to bars, etc. My husband and I have alot in common. I found that out by his profile on match.com. I met him in a public place first few times and he did not know where I lived for several weeks. This is something everyone should do in any case when you first date someone. However, you don't know about anyone you meet, life is always taking a chance.

I met my wonderful husband on match.comin May 2011 and married in Las Vegas in September 2012. We are happily together and I think that it was unfortunate the this lady had to go through the attack but but I certainly believe that it is not match.com's fault at all. She just got a "rotten apple". My prayers go out to her and her family.

Because we are such a nomadic culture, the traditional meeting sites have almost disappeared. School. friends, church, all out of most people's lives. I married a man I met at a commercial products show, after 6 months' aquaintance. I checked his credit rating and spoke to his minister, all two states away. Even so he scammed me out of 30,000 and, at the same time, got to another woman for a substantial ammount. Although my checking did not save that time, it has flipped up flags several other tmes.

I met my partner in 2007 on Match.com. We moved in together in 2009 and are still together :) It is horrible what happened to her but it is certainly not Match.com's fault the guy was disturbed. She just wants money.

I met a guy like that yrs ago. I went out w him once and knew he had a few screws loose! For MONTHS afterwards he wld call my house and leave NASTY, HATEFUL, MEAN, Derogatory, messages...You gt my point! I only went out w the guy ONE TIME n He started threatening me AND my 3 kids and I started calling the law! They done NOTHING and thank GOD he stopped, but it ws only because I moved out of my home town I do believe *sigh* Since then I hv met my soul mate and it wasn't online, it ws the old fashion way and again I thank GOD cause I've been n love w my husband for 14yrs now :) You guys please b very careful! I have dated several men on line or had conversations with them before deciding if I wanted to meet them in person. It was always in the back of my mind to find out as much about them such as where they work, live, family, friends etc. before I even agreed to meet them for coffee. I never told them where I lived until I was sure they were who they said they were and able to verify some of the facts. I met the love of my life on line 8 months ago and we are engaged. I know there are some strange and sick people on line but also every place and in every employment...Does anyone really know anyone. I feel this was such a horrible attack and believe me she has my sympathy.

Met my husband of almost 2 years online. Not to sat there wasn't some weirdos on there you just have to be cautious.
I met my husband of 8 years online too. I met a bunch of weirdos too but you have to screen them all yourself and do your homework before getting too involved.
