Why do you think the Bipartisan group of Senators released their immigration reform package a day before President Obama releases his?

If the senators thought they were going to get a leg up on Obama they are living in a world of make-believe. If they think that they are that important in the day to day business of the nation they are sadly mistaken. I think Obama told them (at least the Democrats among them) to make their announcement so that he can isolate and berate the House again for not thinking along the same lines as the Senate. His intention is to destroy the Republican Party as it is now constituted and will only be satified if both houses are a rubber stamp for his agenda.

The three choices were poor. I think the reason they came out early was so that Obama could steal the good ideas that he could incorporate into HIS plan. Because, as you know, he hasn't had a constructive original idea in his whole life. He leaves everything (including Obama Care) to someone else (Nancy Pelosi)!

Whenever I see a clip of Pres. O. holding a meeting, with distinguished advisors, he is the only one talking. I've never seen him listening. Today, Hilary was seated on his right among a large group gathered around a huge conference table. Did you see the look on her face, as he blathered on and on? Here's my question: Does he ever listen?

I want to change my vote - I thought it just happened that way but tkret makes a valid point. It was a bipartisan effort and for the most part the Democrats are in lock-step with the President. I do have a question - why doesn't a rich republican buy at least one of the major networks? Republicans are right about there being a media bias - but no one has stepped up to change it.
Please, somebody, put your money where THEIR mouth is.

obama is giving a talk tomorrow in Las Vegas about the issue of immigration. I think he secretly wanted this to be brought out today, so his speech is not usurped by the Bi-Partisan group of 8. Did he tell any of the Sens or Reps he "would like" the immigration reform they come up with released at least one day prior to his speech. My guess is yes. He does not like to get caught off guard or blind-sided: mostly because he can't handle that.

He is the Control Freak, and wants everything done his way, as he is the one who is always correct. Don't believe me? Ask obama.
