Do you think the Boy Scouts should allow openly gay members?

brandon, you're absolutely right. God loves everyone, but He doesn't love sin! And the BSA do not have to endorse the gay lifestyle. If they were to decide to continue with their traditional values, that doesn't mean they hate gay people. Rather, it means they would prefer to keep the BSA an organization that subscribes to Godly morals and values. Unfortunately, they have been pressured by the minority to change their values statement.

I like how that Allen guy up there will put a quote outa the Bible and it also says For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

I think everyone should be treated equal. How would you like it if someone pointed out your flaws and put you down, you wouldn't like it.

Homosexuality is a sin. That's all there is to it. There's no dispute about that, because God's words in the Bible are truth. If you don't believe in God or the Bible, that's your problem. It doesn't change truth. We are all sinners, but the Bible says that if you believe in Him with all your heart, you can have everlasting life beyond this worldly life. Jesus died on the cross, taking on the sins of man, including gay people! But, in order to receive God's grace, you must turn away from your sin, repent of your sins and follow Him.

BSA is making a decision and saying that morals are not a priority for the organization. Surely, they've acquiesced to the political correctness that seems to guide the decisions of so many individuals and organizations these days, for fear of backlash.

We do not need to know the Sexual preference of Any individual. That is a PRIVATE matter. Telling me your gay is just telling me your sexual preference. If you want to be treated like any other person than act like any other person. If you insist on Telling every one your sexual preference then you will have to deal with people who don't agree with it. You don't agree with organizations like the BSA because they have taken a position that you don't agree with and you always want to put them down and tell every one how they are wrong BUT when someone or some organization doesn't agree with you and your preference and having to tell everyone your Sexual Preference you call them names and try to hurt there business or reputation. Shame on you. Fact is You are allowed to have your Opinion and so are they IF you don't like how the BSA and other organizations policy's towards your belief THEN DON"T USE THEM!!!

If it was wrong or a sin to be homosexual 10 years or 50years ago why would it be outdated and not be wrong now. I do not believe that homosexuals were born that way and all they have to do is just quit doing it just like anything else that is wrong to do.I feel it's an insult to my intelligence when they tell me it is normal and right. Give me a break. Think about it. If it was normal why are homosexuals not able to procreate. This has nothing to do with race, creed, religion, or national origin, plain and simple.

Yes I think they should allow Gay People in the Boys scouts. Are we not trying to stop the suicide for these young kids to stop. Are we not telling them "they are not alone" That life get better. So how do we get this ac cross to them if we as a society tell them they can not belong to a organisation that will give them a better life. How can we vote No on this pole if we want are children to be excepted for who they are. Regardless of rice , color, creed, religion, or sexual orientation.
