No she should not have written a lengthy love letter, Robert is testing her he wishes for some time apart on a good note to reevaluate there status as a couple he probably just wishes she can respect this one thing and it will show that she is committed to him and mature enough for a serious next step in their relationship

Maybe he's starting to realize that there's more out there for him, he's a great guy and should keep his options open. Absence can make the heart grow fonder or forgetful!

i think kristen stewart should NOT write a love letter because robert pattinson is basically in australia and not missing her beacouse kristen stewat HAS been cheating on robert pattinson with that guy from snow white and the huntsman.
