This is a very hard choice. I'm trying to save for the next Z06. I have never driven a Caddy and no Vette later than the C5 Z06. I'm a manual shift fanatic, so I'm curious about the 7-speed in the Vette, but I think I could be happy with the 6-speed and extra room of the Caddy. This is going to be a very hard choice for me next year. Though I hope I'm wrong, I expect the next Z06 to cost over 100k which will make me have to settle for the Stingray or the CTS-V. I've started playing the lottery more.

I currently drive a Cadillac CTS, though it is not a CTS-V variant and I love the car. I am sure that the additional power and responsiveness of the V would be an even greater pleasure to own and drive. But when it comes to the sports car I'd rather buy right now the Vette edges it out. I am a long time Corvette I admirer and a former owner. I have been out of that segment for a while and know GM seeks to expand its market to a younger demographic. However, the new Vette brings the thrill of European styling with that "ole" school pizazz, power and flair. it is a tough choice for me, but I'll take the C-7 Corvette all day and twice on Sunday.
