Should NPR start an online dating site?

My husband and I are happily married NPR devotees; however, as we've moved several times due to work in the past few years, we're having trouble finding like-minded couples to hang out with. Also, our children, although quite young, seem to have taken to the soothing, dulcet tones of NPR reporting overnight (and the classical station, too). So, we affirm you starting a dating website to bring together more families who can enjoy NPR together! Also, if you have this up and running over the next 20 years, we can hope for NPR-listening sons and daughters-in-law as well. A parent can dream!

A resounding "yes" to the question about KQED being in the online dating business! I am on a couple of online dating sites and find they have a shotgun approach to finding an appropriate match. However, your database of listeners would eliminate much of the chaff from the wheat and would dramatically increase the odds of finding a compatible and likely match - especially for those of us over 60! I find it very tedious and time consuming being on the sites currently available and, knowing your target audience, you would alleviate this negative aspect dramatically.

Please do not waste a moment moving into the world of online dating. So many of us would be profoundly grateful! Nancy
