You poll is inaccurate, in that the Compass does state that scores would be 50% of the teacher's evaluation, BUT it goes on to state that IF those scores or not up to par THEN the teacher receives an unsatisfatory score. NOT 50% BUT it is a failure if the scores are not produced at a level acceptable by the district. The teacher will then be subject to loss of tenure, placed in a program to impove his/her skills and then subject to loss of job if the scores the next year remain unacceptable. Check it out.
