Are your political views the business of your employer?

    Not sure about OH but if it is an 'at will' state the employee can be fired for any reason, assuming it doesn't violate another law, ie: disrcimination, whistle blower, etc. If the employeer made it known that this was going to happen then the employee should have just kept their mouth shut and left the polital stickers off the car. When a nation is as split on the administration as it currently is then when laws are put into effect that cause hardships on the business then I for one agree that the first to go should be those that voted for the ones that passed it.

    If your company is loosing jobs because of a political parties position on an issue, the first to be fired should be the people who support this position!

    Workers should not force their political views on co-workers and management should not force their political views on to the workers. The workplace is for work not politics. It should not be an issue open for debate. Who you vote for is a personal and private issue.

    If you feel you have the freedom to express your political views in the workplace then you should respect your workplace's freedom to express it's view of your politics
