So, regarding this line of thinking, then people who don't use libraries shouldn't pay taxes? Those who don't drive shouldn't pay taxes for new highways, etc.? Those who have never called 911 for any reason shouldn't pay taxes on emergency services?
Give me a break. We all share the responsibilities of paying the taxes for government services. You can't pick and choose where your tax dollars go. Besides, that would negate the need for a whole 'nother department to which people would have to be hired and trained to determine which tax dollars go to what and for how much based on how much each individual uses said service.
It makes no sense, it's never going to happen, and this is the dumbest poll ever.

Those who say only air travelers or want to put the cost onto the airlines please think twice.
Security of airplanes is everyone's concerns most of those in the Twin Towers on 911 were not flying that day nor the ones in the Pentagon. - Now I'm not saying the TSA performs their service worth a flip; but if a plane can be highjacked and flown into a crowded location everyone should be concerned. It's like saying the only ones who should pay for the military are those who are worried if we didn't have one it wouldn't take too long for us to be invaded (I sure hope that is everyone).
2) Having Airlines pay is the same as having air travellers pay - Who do you think they are going to transfer the cost to. They have to anytime the government puts a tax on a company the customers (you and me) have to pay it. It is such a ludicrous argument watching people say comapanies need to pay more - Well gues who is actaully paying; they take the money from you and give it to the government then the governement gives it to those companies who contribute to their re-election campaigns.

Can you tell me why the woman who voted severalw times for both herself and her family is not in jail? The last time I checked it is a crime to vote more than 1 time and no one can vote under someone else's name.

I pay school taxes and I don't have kids in school. I think we should get rid of them all. It is ridiculous and not doing one thing to make us safer. There are usually triple the amount of people needed with many just standing there. Sorry, we live in a shared world...we all pay.

TSA agents should be paid for by the airlines. They of course would recoup these expenses (as they do other airport charges) from the traveling public. The TSA agents should work under Federal Government guidelines (such as the US Post Office does), but should not be directly responsible to the Government. They should be responsible to a private quasi-governmental organization.

the only reason i would say ALL taxpayers is because terrorists who may be going through are not necessarily paying taxes, and its still in our best interests to have security,..that said, i would eliminate the tsa as it is, and go with trained guard dogs like europe,..much more efficient, i feel
