George's '63 Rickenbacker electric 12 string guitar was a major influence in The Beatles sound during one of their most creative periods, the "A Hard Days Night" and "Help" period. Many groups sought out that sound and added it to their music, most notably Roger McGuinn and The Byrds. It has to be one of the most influential and iconic guitars in the world!

George was one of my most influential musician. I painted mt Strat to look like Rocky and used that guitar for the cover of my latest album "Songs of George Harrison". I chose one song from each of his solo records and arranged them as guitar instrumentals.
