Just not funny. Definitely early adolescent humor.

Loved the whole show. It was like the old Oscars I remember from years ago. Seth was perfect. Great voice, good dancing, jokes for all types. The sock puppets had me howling so hard we had to rewind just to hear the jokes again. Thanks for a great night.

I thought he added the perfect balance to offset Hollywood's narcissism. I have never watched the oscar's but tuned in to see what he would bring. I was not disappointed.

Seth MacFarlane was wonderful. He was witty, entertaining, clever, respectful, over the top and worthy of being asked again. Nothing he said last night was anything grown people couldn't handle. And yes, I agree that 150 years is LOOOOONG enough, especially since their are many other Licoln jokes out there. And about Chris Brown/Rihanna or Mel Gibson/Hollywood Jewish jokes, have we not heard them all before?! Why so sensitive? I hope he comes back. Seth is what the Oscars need.

Seth did a great job !! you have to be pretty up to date on Hollywood going on's to catch all of his hidden jokes and we did. We laughed our butts off at my Oscar party (20 people).
Billy CRystal,Chris Rock, who cares...every person brings their own style to this otherwise boring show.
Thanks Seth,I hope you do it again next year !!!!!!!!!!!!!

He was okay. He lacks presence. He does not command the screen or demand your attention. His sense of humor is wonderful but his delivery and timing are poor.

Comparing someone's acceptance speech vs. entertaining a huge audience for a 15 minute intro and about 10-15 funny intros are two different beasts altogether. Seth did a great job. A few misses here and there, but mostly he nailed it. People have to stop being so sensitive to everything. If you didn't like the joke, move on.

I loved him. He can sing, dance and tell imaginative jokes. This is the 2000's,so we can take a few very funny and racy jokes.

the self aware jokes were fine, but most were mean and based on old-fashioned stereotypes rather than funny. That's what happens when someone isn't particularly imaginative. for my taste, daniel day-lewis carried the day - he was funny and charming without being mean or crass.
