Is the school choice bill good or bad for education in Alabama?
It's terrible.
It's ultimately good for schools, but the political machinations behind it are not acceptable.
It's clearly good. It will force accountability in our public schools and allow our children the opportunity for a solid education.
I'm not sure how this will turn out just yet.
It doesn't go far enough. I wish it was a full-fledged voucher program rather than a tax credit for private school kids.
This isn't good for our schools. The better-off kids who can afford to pay private school tuition up front (the tax credit comes later) will flee our schools.
