do you know id rather have the racing safty and medical team taking care of me then some of the paramedic ive seen working. for one, the medical team at racetracks have got to go thru training that im sure some ( not all) paramedics have to go thru. im sure that some of our paramedics couldnt make it half way up the turns at daytona before falling, rolling back down and become patience themselves. nascar and all other racing tracks medical and emergency personel must go thru physical training and must keep their wieght at check. can you imagine some of these paramedics trying to help a driver when he cant get through the window. track officials would be responcible for track accidents and the county and state can keep their noses on the highways. watch a wreak on a track, they walk away from 200 mph smashups, and they dontt need to call 911. so if thats your excuse, shesh the one you have is" hows that going to effect my 50 thousand dollar raise we are going to vote for" that raise will be the fastest thing going then nascar racing.

It still seems to me there are alot of un educated opinions of the track. As well as people using organazations for the personal gain. If this chief is worried that his departments couldnt handle a medical situation at the track, please explain the difference in a multiple vehicle accident on the interstate 95? I am a former driver at ODS and was involved in major racing accident the medical staff at ODS did everything needed to take care of my medical needs and was racing again the next week. Please let the County and State agencies do there job and stop coming up with all these lame excuses why not to have the track.
