First off ive never seen a American Indian with red skin as they call me white but my skin isnt white and as for the BLACKMAN......most ones i know have varried color skins mostly in the brown color. My grandmother was full blooded CHEROKEEand her skin wasnt RED. AND I BET IF OFFERED MONEY TO THE INDIANS THEY WOULD TAKE IT SO WHO WOULD B MAKING MONEY? Wtf......where is the double jepperty......how many times do we "THE REDSKINS FANS' have to go thru this. I dont hear anyone complaining about the COWBOYS.....didnt INDIANS OWN THAT LAND AND DINT THE COWBOYS KILL THEM? Sound a bit rediculas doesnt it?:

I bet people would have a real fit if a team was called the blackskins as a way to "honor" slaves.

The name is an honor to the Indian Nations. There should be a sense of pride for the display of the Chief as a symbol of sports in the Nation's Capital. Sensitivity and political correctness have run amok in this country. The Washington Redskins are involved in so many charities and acts of good works. It's a shame that some to disregard and minimize an organization that actually cares for the residents of the area and the country.
