I seek the unique shock element of QUEN. in his movies .
These are vivid in PULP FICTION & DJANGO UNCHAINED .
RESERVIOR DOGS is magnificent for simplicity of its setting mixed with the complexity of its plot !
KILL BILL (both versions) is the overmagnified enthusiasm of QUEN. for far eastern samurai culture esp.samurai swords .
The very notion of SHEER BULLSHIT shouldnt be forgotten ! Its on of the main means of him for showing the absurdity of life and I adore him for that.
The rest are cool ,not equally cool .I'd rather refer to them as less TARANTINY movies of TARANTINO

I just had a dream the other day where I asked Tarantino how much he liked Taxi Driver. You can really see the influence.
