I think raising it is a good thing since people already go 70+ .

I just drove the state from south to north yesterday coming from NC. All other states in my drive had 70mph, and reaching my home state at 65 was a DRAG! I believe that the tnpke has less fatalities and accidents with the raised speed limit, because it reduced the road rage and frustration levels.
